Hi MyLoters. I has been totally tired of MyLot at one time, posting each time less and less, so finally I left it completely. Just got bored of all this and wanted a break. But that's over now. It has been near 1 month without looking at MyLot at all, so now I became bored of not hanging around here commenting something. I want to be as active again as I was a few months ago, of course with the time constraints that my work imposes, but I really like the site and discussing in it. And to not to be hypocrite, for the earnings too And thinking about it, is it good to take a break on an activity and resume it some time after with refreshed energies?

If you were to ask almost anyone here, even those of us who have been here a long time, most of us have taken breaks a time or two, and some of them have been a little longer than others. I know myself I went thru a spurt and it actually ended up being a Good thing as well. Just remember not to be gone too long, but we are here to support and help you anytime you're wanting to post here as well.

Nice to ear another similar experience! And glad it was good too. For me too, just left it when bored and tired and came back when I have time and want to post something.

Hi there RamRes!!! Well I think there is nothing wrong with taking a break with mylot sometimes.even I myself used to take a break and be off to mylot for some time.I always make it a point to have a little break from this site becoz I have to do many things especially when I am still in college. When I am really feeling lazy to do mylot, what I am doing is just to use their search engine and search for anything to be receive a reward from mylot. The rewards coming from the search engine is truly a great help in my earnings.

Well, one thing it does is show that you are not addicted. But that happened to me, too. With me, it waswn't so much a conscience decision to quit my loy, it was more of just doing other things and one day thinking I haven't been on my lot lately. One of the things about the internet is, there are so much site to go to and you learn about a new site and you forget about some of the other ones you go on. There is one site called fmylife.com which can be hilarious, make you laugh out loud. It's little paragraphs of things that happened to people that are so bad, you can't help but laugh. In fact, a lot of those stories, to me are not funny. Now I haven't been on there for awhile. This past easter, someone told me about a site called earthcam.com, which shows live pictures of webcams all around the world and you can see what's going on. One is in Louisiana which shows a kareoke bar. I wonder if these people know they are being broadcast around the world.

I konw. I have been feeling like this for mylot. I'm posting lots lesser comparing to my activity on mylot a month ago. I'm getting kind of bored with it and I don't feel like responding to a lof of the discussions and creating new ones. So I just participate it when I want to. I guess it is good to give it a break sometime.

The same as me. I just realized I was entering less and getting bored and having no time for my life and so on. One day I think that I haven't entered in a long time. Then my break unofficially stared.

It's necessary sometimes to rest. And to come back with fresh energies.

Taking a break is a good thing without announcing one's departure. There are those who call for a farewell party but do come back after a while. I like your way. Welcome back.

I don't like that too. In fact, for me I never plan to leave in the first place. Just one day was too tired, the other was bored, the next no time, the other something else and so on. When I realized, it was a week without even login or doing anything. Never planed it that way, but just happened as a result of other things.

hi and welcome back ramres. i have observed that the old members are already coming back here. It seems that when one has been on mylot and left, they miss the way mylot community allows them to earn and learn and have friends and that is the reason at one time or another they do come back here :)

Seems like they also are taking their breaks too. For me I always liked this, but need a break to make time for myself and my work and other things too.
