Investing In Silver

I have seen advertisements online that say it is a good time to invest in silver. Are any of you investing in silver? Do you know of any good silver investing opportunities? What do you like about them?

Hi Lukkyr, silver is good for both long and short term.
If you want to make quick money, you have to study the chart, and make decisions very quickly.
When silver was at an all time low in 2011, the price was about $26.
Imagine you trade online and bought at $26, and sold at the all time high price of $49, you would have made a very nice profit.
The huge swing in the price of this metal means that you can enjoy trading for short term.
It is also good for long term holding.
Even if you do not have much money, you can buy one or two silver coins when the price is right.
You can start from one or two coins, and build up a good collection.

I think silver is the new gold, since gold is far beyond most people's budgets. While I understand the concept, with currency becoming of less value all the time, I wonder about buying precious metals. Like internet properties and real estate, it could be a bubble that bursts, leaving a lot of people holding metals that have very little value. Just my opinion.
