So extremely overwhelmed by this

I've gotten back into article writing recently to help supplement my income. This will be much needed when my husband and I end up having to pay rent on our own when the roommate moves out. But I'm overwhelmed by it all now. I don't know if I'm biting off more than I can chew with this, as I just took on more responsibility, more article writing and paid posting for someone else. There's so much to do. Writing articles isn't that easy, I know this as I've been doing it for a while. I'm going to be taking my time with it all, I don't want to be getting in over my head, but it does help to have the added income. And who knows, maybe if it works out, I'll be able to quit my day job to focus on this and have full time income that way. I'll just have to wait and see though.

these things always take longer than you anticipate. It can be sooo tiring to work all day and then come home and have to come up with words. The added income is great, though.

I do write for a personal publisher and for a couple of online sites. I have slowed down a bit because it was getting to be a bit too much for me. I love to write but sometimes I am required to do several in one sitting with a too short of a deadline. Maybe it will work out well for you, just take your time and do the best you can. Hopefully it will work out well for you.

Tiger rubbing his head on my hand - Tiger missed me while I was gone yesterday. He wants to write with me.
Hubby forgets that I am working when I am online, he wants to read to me from his books. It was easier when he had a job. Then there are the cats. I was gone for four hours yesterday then came home and the "boys" were glued to me. Today it was just Tiger, but you have a hard time writing with a cat butting his head against your hand.

I hope so too, this would really help with income. Given that I have so much to do, I'll have to pace myself with it all. I'm lucky that I have some leeway with the new one, my articles aren't due until next week, I'm almost done the second one, and I'll have 8 more to go.

Oh my G as Hatley always says, your cat wants to see what you are up to and wants to be cuddly too. How cute GG, thanks for sharing and gosh do I know how it is to be online with my boyfriend at home. Whoa!

Well, I do wish you the Best of Luck. I have not been submitting anything lately myself, but do have a lot of things I would like to submit. As for making enough to be able to quit your job, I think that is everyone's dream in time, but takes a lot of time and effort. Set some Goals, see what will work for you the Best and focus on what is important for you.

There have been times when I have taken on too much and it really wears on you and damages your well being and your health. I hope you get a routine set up and can concentrate to do this, as it is one way to help you income while still being at home. I really believe it will be easier when you get that lowlife out of your home so you can have a pleasant environment to work.

It will be much easier to do when he's gone. Can't wait until then. In the meantime, I can work when he's not around, preferably when no one's home at all, but it's not always possible.

I am in the same boat as you are. I want to save up a little cash in case of an emergency, and have been looking at article writing. I used to be signed up to something called IMreportcard and made quite a bit of cash on there, but then they started getting very strict, accusing everyone of cheating and then I see now that they are only offering reward points and cant decide what to give in exchange for them. That was a shame because it helped pay for a good few birthday and christmas presents. Anyway, ML is my only online income now, and its not exactly a fortune. If you do find a good article site, feel free to PM me and let me know. I like writing articles, and wouldnt mind the extra cash!

I write privately right now, but the one site I'm on always has some posts looking for writers. My jobs I picked up because of who I know, I wouldn't have these jobs if I didn't know them.

Yes it is a hard job market to conquer with so many people worldwide fighting for those jobs. Thanks for the message - I shall keep it under my hat! :)

I hope it works out for you. I want to get into freelance article writing, but I can't find jobs because I only have a liberal arts degree. I have applied to jobs on craigslist but there are only so many that offer jobs online. I can't use transportation so I can only get online jobs. You are fortunate to know people who can give you jobs.

I don't have any degree, in fact, I never even finished high school. I just know people, that's how I got my work.

I agree with you that writing articles is not easy. You have to do a lot of research first in order to get the correct information. I admit sometimes I struggle with just one article, lol! I hope everything will work out for you and then you can work full time with your articles which won't be so stressful then.
