Friendster Announcing for Closure

Hello Visavis, It's really the sad fate of friendster that they're dying. they're one of the most popular sites five to six years ago. the first time i found out about friendster was 2003, andit was the hype of the internet year. but since this facebook has now been exported to us too, we migrated so Facebook. I have a friend who focuses social networking there for along time. he doesn't listen when ever i tell him to have a Facebook account.

hi visavis I am not on Friendster; but on Facebook and Mylot and I have more than enough to do with those two. I have no idea as to what people on Friendster would do. Me I would leave freindster and come to mylot where you can earn while just enjoying your self and learning something new each day. for mylot.

it was a bad news for friendster member...especially fanatics member of friendster.. but i think it was a good news for comptete of friendster include facebook we know that now friendster lost many member who migrate to facebook... iam friendster but now i migrate to facebook 1 years ago i think.. indonesia is one of the country who had many facebook members.. and i think phillipines is the most fanatics friendster members

When they will close it? I have an account there but I haven't been there for ages.I think most of the members of friendster are not there or not active anymore and due to that friendster plan to close its social networking site. I think they already join facebook long time ago~

hi, even now its still a rumors spreading that Friendster site will soon to close,they said that at the end of this month of May they will totally and surely close that site.i still open my Friendster account and still enjoy it.

hi, is this true? when will they close it? i do have an account on friendster but i haven't opened it for years now. am now using fb as all my friends are.

I think even those who are friendster fanatics have their facebook accounts. I mean we all know how people became so addicted in facebook a yer or two ago. To be honest, even before I had my facebook account, I never really visit my friendster account too often, like, I only visit my profile 2 or 3 times a year because back then, we don't have an internet connection at home and I don't want to spend my money just to rent a computer in an internet shop. =) But now, I am also getting tired of facebook, I am just happy that facebook really helped me to stay connected with my friends even if we don't see each other for a very very long time.

yes i am a friendster user. but i still have accounts in fb,twitter. i have kept all my business friends in friendster so i hope if any thing happens to it then i have to migrate all my links also.
