How to increase mylot reputation?

I just realized there's such thing as mylot reputation. When unintentionally the pointer moves to the number above my name. It appeared. And I found out that others had 10, 9 . . etc. 90/100. what's that for? Tell me? I don't understand it. Ha ha. just because I open my mylot as a hobby. And I don't mind it before. Not until today.

hi, i only noticed that maybe i had 5 months here in mylot as a member,in the first time i really dont know what was that for, even now,its not very clear for me how it works that stars...
