You know what is worst than having no money and no food? It’s a loose thread faucet. Not only that you are wasting precious water you also are wasting tons of cash since you are paying for water that you did not consume. So advice to everyone make sure that you know how to properly replace faucet also understand that if you put too much pressure in closing your faucet, eventually it will be a problem in the future when it loses its threads.

Yes, i agree. Nothing is more wasteful than paying for something we didn't use. It's the same like throwing our money down the rubbish chute. I don't have the habit of wasting water, especially while washing dishes. Though i had a faucet in place, i will control the amount of water flowing through too. If i can wash everything with half a basin of water, why would anybody in the houshold need full basin right?

The modern washerless faucet requires very little pressure to open and close. The old washer type can be a pain if stripped, however if one keeps a new seat and washer in them, they will last almost forever. A visit to your local library will help you discover what and how to replace faucet and or parts. I bet if you searched, you could find it on the internet as well. Handy people who work at hardware stores can sometimes show you as well. Simply because you have never worked on your plumbing doesn't mean you can't fix it yourself. You are going to learn a lot!!
