soulmate?

you met this guy for the first time in an unexpected moment. you were together for only a short span of time but he seemed so familiar to you. you instantly became close. you feel secure when you were with him. you feel free and happy, comfortable and you super enjoy his company. the encounter with him was heavenly. being with him makes you feel possitively different. can this be considered a soulmate encounter?

Believe me when I say that there would be a lot of those in your lifetime. I don't really think it's a soulmate encounter. I guess it's just a matter of finding someone agreeable that point in time, but doesn't mean that you'd feel the same with that single person over long periods of time. It's just the same with being infatuated to someone.
Infatuation could be felt as if it's love, but soon you'll realize it cannot last forever.
Don't worry, enjoy the feeling. Just don't make decisions whenever you're very much happy or very angry - decision-making in those instances will absolutely bring about regret in the end.

Hello Laydee. I think i have to agree with you. Three years ago I met a guy from another country and we instantly hit it off. We became friends and were very close but we were never romantic to teach other because I was already married. He told me I was his souldmate and people misinterpreted that as love. We didn't mind them though as we were very much comfortable with each other. A year after that I met another one who also became very close to me and cared for me a lot and even called me a twin sister.
So I guess, there's no such thing as soulmates but just people you are very comfortable with.

Sometimes you come face to face with your soulmate and you just know that you were meant to be together. other times a soulmate is someone you search your whole life for. when you find your soulmate, you are at peace and contentment with the world. it is when you can find happiness that exists beyond yourself. @ladygator (3465)

This is an easy thing to do, especially when you have had bad past relationships. They tend to leave a bad taste in your mouth that you just cant seem to spit out! But when this great wonderful person comes along, they are a breath of fresh air compared to the other nuckle head. But the one thing to keep in mind is that you really dont know this person until you have been through a few things. Or seen them in the middle of a trying time.

There's a girl whose birth date matches that I thought would be my soulmate. But another girl matches the face I wanted that the latter does not have. What does it mean? I get tired of the word soulmate after.

hmmmmmmmmmm though i like the idea of soul mate i feel all the emotions you said with most of my friends and i have only a few 'true' friends so maybe all of them are my soul mates though half of them are women!!....i mean there is no physical attraction with male friends but i know they will be there for me and i am there for them.....but i am yet to meet THE ONE if someone like that exists.....so i guess i am all confused with this soul mate thing :)
