Here's the question. If you sell from a home based business and by this I mean Avon, Pampered chef, Partylite or other have you tried selling items on Ebay either as single items, lots or gift baskets? I was wondering if you can make near what you should? How do you sell via auction or set price?

I have tried it and didn't make hardly anything from what I had to pay for it. People were always telling me that my prices are to high or I charge to much for shipping and they could go get it from there rep and not have to pay shipping for it. I got so aggravated I stopped selling on ebay.

That was what I was thinking but I saw some with the products I sell doing what looked like OK. Just putting out feelers. What do you sell if I might ask?

Mostly Avon. But I will try and sell just about anything.

Does Avon allow you to sell products on Ebay...for less than what they sell for in the book? I thought they didn't allow that. But that was couple years ago. My daughter just started selling and I am trying to find any info I can to help her (other than ordering stuff I don't really need!). I stopped selling on Ebay years ago when they raised the fees for "little sellers" so high, it just wasn't worth it. I only charged exact shipping plus $1 for gas to and from USPS, wrapping and packing material and all those little extras. What got me was that most others charged a huge shipping fee...and theirs got bids, but my same item didn't!
