do you think the end of the world is near?

If you are an observant ,you will obviously notice the changes that happens in our world,the weather,the people,the media,and the earth itself.On the other hand if you have read the bible you will know the signs that the end is coming soon, like earthquakes we never thought would happen,volcanic eruptions,climate changes,disasters,wars around the world.But the question is do you think the end of the world is near?
I think it is.

The bible is always a weak argument to back something up. It's what people resort to when they have no solid facts to back up an argument. The fact is that the weather is getting more fierce because of the pollution we have been pumping into the air for so long. This has caused global warming and thus altered the weather patterns. Only a slight change can cause much worse weather, because the warmer air creates a more brutal clash with the cold air. Want to fix it.. stop polluting and the earth will eventually balance itself out again. :)

Even if there are signs that the world may soon end, I don't think that the world will end this year or anytime soon. There is also no way that anyone on earth can predict this too. Many have tried, but they have failed to determine the exact date when the world will truly end. I will leave all of the true predictions to God himself because he is the only one who knows the true, accurate and real answer to this. I will not try or attempt to be God, because God does not appreciate any of us, adding to or taking away from his WORD. I only go by what the Bible says and not what man says.

yes! God is the author and the finisher, so he has the last say so anyway. but he does want us to be vigilant and follow the signs. i really like this post. we are to stand on our word and frankly some poeple won't know unless we tell them. i liked the way you didnt try to hammer things in too. God's word does not need defending.it's like you took a stand in your opinion without being judgemental, which can really harm and deter alot of people from even wanting to know anything about God anyway.we are the salt of the earth so it is very important what we say and do.:)

Sometimes, being too observant made you confined yourself in a small box. What does it meant by 'End Of World'. Well, it's definition varies. Some says end of humanity, some says cyberworld will consume current world ( which I think ridiculous), and even some, like you, says the earth is dying, or some sort of disaster. Make it out, live happily, and you will not regret you live a good life. Cheers.(^^)

though i am what i guess poeple might call a "radical" for christ, i really do like this response. Their is more than one way to look at it and poeple do have their own beliefs. we should at least pay attention to our world because we live here! but it is no reason to hide under a rock. becuase of my beliefs i feel tht the end would be a good thing.not beating you with my bible,don't worry! but i also believe in understanding and God wanting us to be happy too:)
