As I use my cellphone for just about every call,I'm only keeping a landline going for my internet connection,so have an answering machine to screen calls on the landline,as everyone I know has my cell number..
I have to assume it's only cold call advertising and such that ring my landline, get the message, and hang up part way through the spiel..but I just have to wonder,if it's important enough to make that call in the first place, wouldn't leaving a message be of some use? Do ringing phones bug you when they hang up,do you get paranoid,or just say to yourself "If it's important they'll ring back"?

hi , i too use my wireless bsnl phone for the net connectivity and the cellphone for receiving , if the call is unattended with in some seconds it would go the the answermachine of the cell phone as nowadays new features are available in the cell phones.I just play back what is recorded in the one minute of the time as i setted in the settings.i call back to knw if necessary.
