Has it ever happened with you that you confided upon someone for every single little thing and then you know that you friend who knows everything about you has a secret . You tell him/her every little thing but it isn't the same from the other side .
If ever such thing happened ,express your true emotions and what you did in such situation .

I know it may seem hurtful to some friends but there are things that are private to everyone and people do not need to share them with everyone, including best friends, family etc. If you choose to tell them everything that is your choice but think about it, do you really tell them everything?

even I ask others do you tell them everything ? , when someone comes across and tells me that he/she got hurt because of his/her friend . friendship is all about sharing but we should give others space .

I think it would be fine with me. It's just that there are people who aren't comfortable sharing their secrets with others. In my case, I have friends who share secrets with me but they don't expect me to share all my secrets with them and they understand.
