I work hard to get my star , but nobody rate and I'm very sad.I know that I'm new but I post here many interesting storyes and nobody rate . I think that people is not interested about the news and the descoveries on Earth.I'm passionate in computers and history and I like to talk very much about this but,if nobody rate , maybe I need to talk about games or about candy? Friends , if anyone like archeology news , just say me here and I will continue to post about world news everyday and if anyone don;t like this kind of storyes just say me

You don't know if anybody rates you or not. That's because you can't see your star until you have 100 posts. Be sure your activity is rated by other users and you will see the results soon. You only have to write 40 more posts to see the color of your star.

The subjects you like all sound interesting. The important thing is to phrase posts so that they stir up discussion. I've seen some posts on MyLot which basically say "This is a fact" or "Here is the news" - there's no discussion possible about that.
The rating thing takes a long time, though - a lot of folks (myself included) don't always remember to hit the rating buttons as they're reading through. I try to, but my aging, failing, old brain struggles sometimes.

Oh and definite thumbs-up for archaeology (historical stuff, too, now I come to think of it). Daniel Jackson ftw.
Always worth posting in Q&A or other high-population areas, by the way. more eyes = more rates and more responses.

do not mind the star. keep on posting and you will eventually see that star when you reach 100

Yep my colleague above mentioned the whole story after 100 post you will be able to see what you have earn so for in terms of reputation. I think you have good posts and you will get maximum 6 or 7 stars so continue your postings and hope for the best. By the we are your friends......:D

hi granny2011. i can give you one tip, you have started 40 discussions and replied to 19. you have 10 friends. Respond to a lot more, get to know people and request the friendship of the ones you find interesting.
look under your interest sections for discussions on your favorite subjects.
at this moment in time you need to interact more with other discussions rather than starting them.

hello granny just continue posting a topic that is intersting and more comfortable to others when you reach the minimum of 100 you can see already what rank are you and if you have a star or not 100 and below you cannot see your star , Do not lose hope.

How did you know people are not rating you???Please get me know how one can check it if people are rating you or not. But i supose it should be mandatory from MYLOT to rate every opinion while writting your opinion. There is a feeling that people do forget to rate others as they just remain busy in writting. I do rate people normally whenevr i find opinion good or bad. because the ratings you give to other are considered by MYLOT while deciding rating of a user therefore we must rate each other opinion & we should go ahead.
