It really depends on how you handle it. I know a lot of people who have tremendous ego and aggressive attitude and they think of it as an asset to move forward in this highly competitive world. Its dog eat dog out there and decency and helping values are almost Victorian terms…most people I see would like to show a lot of attitude and elbow their way through, so if it’s a natural trait for you, then its good if you can handle it properly, i.e. who know and can decide when to show off that attitude and when not to.

I am unable to figure out what you have written. Is your attitude problem related to your own response regarding another person or is it another person's attitude? You have written about 'ego' too; so, I cannot understand your doubt here.

If you are referring to 'ego' I feel every human being is born with it. Only when this gets so inflated as to stop you from learning, it is harmful.

Attitude and ego are two different entities. Having an attitude is not bad at all It means you have your own mind and an independent thinking according to me. Ego is giving oneself importance - you can see the difference there.

hi, actually its really hard to change our attitude especially those negative because sometimes its a hereditary effect, and the other one is environmentally which is mire faster to change rather than hereditary one.so maybe the attitude you want to change is hereditary one.

I think my attitude is fine. It's everyone else that needs the adjustment. I bet that's your problem too. It's not you. Best Wishes!

Siliguri (kemanachin, baluvachin tho-- How are you, Are your fine in bengali) -- EGO is the problem that affects individuals, families, companies, institutions, groups, forums. My experience -- Now I am 61+. Not much stakes. Even here when some issue comes I feel bad at times. On account of ego, many times I was caught while working in a Bank. I use to have luck so that I can swim back and and start moving again delayedly. Everybody is important. Nobody is unimportant. Nobody is inispensable. Keep this motto in mind. The world will run even without us. Same thing applies to companies, banks, governments etc. Getting rid of it -- a very complex thing. Be aware that you must get rid of ego. Accept people as they are. They will not change for our sake. Yes. now laptop is sought by my ... I will rejoin in some other place in the discussion.

Hi. siliguri. No. I don't have this problem, if I do happen to get this way it is because of people mistreating me and doing me wrong. But, I do stay quiet, I just try to stay as far away from my enemies as much as possible. The best thing to do in this situation is to pray and ask God to help you get through this situation. He can bring you joy so that you won't be upset with hateful people that will make you stay bitter so much.

You just can't get rid of your attitude problem overnight. All you can do is your willingness to change and you can be able to encounter challenges that you will be patient with it. I know it to myself that I am having the ill attitude as well that others would really hate it especially when I am being honest to them. But sometimes I believe that I really need to act that way because if I am too nice people will tend to abuse it.

Did it get you to any trouble or have you caused any pain to someone? If not, why bother? I think all of us have ego/attitude, but it depends on how we control ourselves and how we handle other people and how they handle us. As long as you're happy and the people around you are happy, then you don't have any problems. Happy posting. See you around.

I think most of us have an attitude problem. I believe that i have a problem with my attitude too. However, i think you need to tell us a little more about what is the attitude that you think you are concerned with because attitude comprises of many.

Be understanding of the nature of every person you meet. People are different from another. They have different styles of dealing with a certain situation. Try to put yourself in their shoes when in those situations. That way, you avoid having the attitude problem.

LOL to your avatar. I like it :) I think many of us have 'an attitude' at some times. Whether it's good or bad depends on whether is interfers with your job or relationships. Having a healthy ego is a good thing. You want to feel you are capable, but in the extreme, an ego can get you into trouble.

Its really hard to deal with this problem on your own. You need God to help you. Trust Him and he will give you joy that will let you freed from your problem.

I am quite a systematic guy, I have a 'feedback' system for friends around. In case they find out my attitude (the negative side), I welcome them to send a feedback to me. After that, I spend my time to think about myself and make any change that appears better in front of others. Flexibility rules! :)
