Okay, here's what I'm wondering, and I'm not looking for anyone to give me any details as to how, but I'm curious if anyone is actually making a decent income on line? By decent I mean $500 or more per month. Call this a desperate cry for moral support, or whatever you want to call it, but I just need to know that there are actually people out there earning a living from doing all this posting and article writing, etc. If there is, then I think I'm on the write path, if not ... well, maybe the security job I saw in the paper isn't such a bad idea.

I do not make anywhere near that amount, but I do know a few people that do. It is not something that you can just do without effort ... at least, I do not know anybody that makes that amount of money on-line without putting time and effort into it. You need to do some research and find out what sites are good and which ones are most likely scams. Also, you need to know what your strengths and weaknesses are, because if you are not a strong writer, for instance, than you probably should not waste much time with the writing sites, especially the ones that pay based on the quality of the content. If you are good at finding factual information quickly, on the other hand, then I think that there are sites that will pay you for that.

I know people that say the same thing ... you are just being lazy trying to earn money on the computer. Why don't you go out and get a real job? What happened to the days when it was alright to want to stay at home with your children and raise them yourself instead of paying a stranger to raise them? I am not saying that either one is right or wrong, but I do not think that people should be judged regardless of which one they choose. On the other hand, I really do not earn much on here ... mostly it is just a way to have a little fun and let off some steam. I really admire others that are able to make an actual living doing this (not enough to support the entire household, maybe, but enough to significantly contribute to the household finances), especially when they are also taking care of their house and children while earning on-line. I wish that I was talented enough to do that.

You have a good point there. I think my writing is good enough, though I know there are some weaknesses with it. Research though, that I've gotten pretty good at. I'll have to search around and see what I can find along those lines. As far as effort, yep, I realize it takes a lot of effort in order to actually earn money on line. I know a lot of people think of it as "lazy man's work," but it is definitely not. ~L~ Thanks Purple!

That's kind of what I was thinking, and I'm wondering if my content is good enough to actually bring in some money. Of course, I don't have my own blog so maybe that's something I should start looking into. Thanks May!

Ok so I couldn't live on my own making what I make online but I def contribute to the household income. I bring in several checks a month ranging from $15.00 to $200.00 dollars and rising. I have been doing this for a long time. You should read and follow my blog, its listed on my profile. Its fairly new so I don't have everything on it yet but there's lots more to come. And I'm always willing to help if someone has a question. It just takes time to learn. Great question by the way!

Yeah, I haven't really been doing this too long, at least not seriously. So I'm kind of wadding my way through what does and doesn't work. I'm not saying I haven't earned money on line, it just hasn't been a whole lot. But I suppose when you think about it every little bit helps. Anyhow, I'll pop over and check out your blog. ;) Thanks Devideddi!

I used to make close to $500 a month a couple years ago, sometimes a bit more than that. Back then, the most I made in one month was just under $800 (I was freelance writing a lot at the time). So, yes, I believe, it's possible to make at least $500 a month. It depends on your skills and how you work it.

Hi Arkine, I make more than that every month, and you can too. I'm selling all kinds of stuff on ebay(In fact right this morning I sold something for $102 :D I'm pretty happy for that) I'm making money with twitter and I have all kinds of sites and blogs that earn money for me. Some of them give very much value for other people some of them are on autopilot(I use some plugins that post automatically for me). Anyway I didn't say this to brag or something. The idea is that everyone can make a nice income online, month after month. You just need to have a good plan and act on it, have trust in you, have patience and be persistent(3 years I struggled until I started to make a good amount of money every month). Never ever ever.... gave up on your dreams!!! If someone else can do it You can do it too!!! So go for it!

HI Arkine.....there are plenty of websites posting things that you can make this amount a week/month.....but most if not all are fake and they do not gove you a real picture and also after you make an investment of may be $40-$50 they do not get back to you and you end up being the loser. But blogging and affliate marketing are places where you could earn a lot of money but again its a lot of hard work...once you go for it no matter what the situation you should not stop if you do not get the desirred results early on.....its also imp to set small targets and then proceed.....it helps you achieve your goals....good luck.....

Yes. i saw your web page. It is very creative. I think u are a creative person by yourself. You are rather very good in writing. I do not understand "Call this a desperate cry....." If u have some special skills like knowledge in science, art, technology--if u write in that your earnings may be excellent. Try. have a happy day.
