1st and 2nd question? There's only one question there. I'm right-handed for everything except eating (which I do left-handed, bizarrely). As for the piano thing, I think that's a myth: playing the piano is a combination of talent and practice. Ambidexterity might help a little but I honestly don't think it'd make a significant difference.

I am naturally right-handed. I've always written with my right hand. I have tried to do write with my left hand, but it wasn't good. Although there are some things that I just naturally do with my left hand. For one reason or another I always cut food with the knife in my left hand. I was the only one in my family to do that. That's just one thing that I do with my left hand. However, I don't think that you need to write with both hands to be a good piano player. I think that with practice you can be a good pianist.

In nowadays , to be a good pianist need first to have a piano , and it's very expensive, than you need to practice everyday to be good. When you see a child who know how to play , this means that her parents have money to buy him what he need to be a good pianist. If every child had since his childhood what he need to improve his talent, maybe in nawadays , we will see a new Michael Jackson or a new Mozzart .But now , the poor people don't have momey to practice what they like so much. It's sad but true

I can write with both hands, but I was taught by my parents to write with my right hand. I learned to write with my left hand in my first year at university simply because I was bored. Now, I love being able to write with both of my hands, particularly in exams when one of my hands gets tired I can simply switch and everything will be fine with it. I don't think that my left hand will ever be as neat at writing as my right hand, but I am going to continue practicing and just hope that I will be able to get up to a fairly good standard.

I write with my right hand, but can do almost anything else with my left hand as well. I used to play the piano, but am a bit out of practice. I'm sure if I put in some time it would come back to me pretty easily.

I can write with my right and left hand. But I use my right hand most of the time. I play guitar and piano, I find this instruments easy to use. I'm not sure if it is related whether you are left or right handed.

i can only write using my right hand. but regarding the piano, i don't think so. because i knew someone who plays piano very well but she is only right handed. i think if you can type well, you can learn piano easier. ^^

Like many people, I am right-handed. Although I can't write words nice by my left hand, but I use my mouse by my left hand and it is very flexible. However, I am not good at music. I haven't learn to play the piano and I don't have this talent. I don't know whether you can play the piano well if you can write with both your hands. But I am sure if you can manage it, you must be a very smart person. I love China

I can write much better with my right hand, but can write with my left hand. I heard somewhere that if you occasionally use the opposite hand you usually write with, the creative part of your brain is triggered. I can't remember where I heard that or who I heard it from, so I don't even know how true it is. But it's fun to think that it's true.

I'm pretty much limited to right hand use only. I can write with my left but it is very very hard to read, even for me. I have a very good friend who is left handed and can't really use his right hand. My best friend can use both. Its very interesting the way handwriting looks when you use your left hand - even if you bump elbows writing at the same time!

I'm using my left hand to write, but during playing guitar I'm using my right hand. They said that I inherited this from my grandma both sides. They are all left handed. Science considered left handed as recessive traits that can be inherited from parents or great grand parents. My sister is great when playing piano, but she's a right handed person.

I am with goldenPlanet. I am left-handed but there are other activities I make with my right hand. I think this is because a right-handed teaches you to do it. In my country are people who say that left-handed persons don't go to heaven. I always answer: "Maybe I am not going but not because I am left-handed." Ha ha ha!

Well I do write with my right hand and almost all activities are done with the same hand..however when I tried writing with my left hand I can but it is not as clear as what I can with my right hand...it is kind of a talent if you can write with both your hands...You should be proud of it...Not to sure if I agree to your second question about the piano but may be it could be a true fact....

Imagine what can you do if you are able to write with both hands...:)) In an exam you can finish much faster :)) Or copying...

Hello, well I can write with my right hand only. Although I do try to write with my left but it always turns out as if a little kid is trying to learn how to write. As for the Piano I would have to say that it is a myth, as when I was about 17 I would play the piano at the church. Although I am not good at reading the music notes but I was good at putting different tunes together that sounded really good on the piano. So I would have to say that this is a very good topic you decided to do. Because you will end up getting all sorts of opinions. Happy Mylotting

I am right-handed and have always been, I have tried writing with my left hand but quality of writing just comes out very babyish. I am not sure you need to be able to write with both hands to be able to play the piano well, I actually play the piano and is I can generally play with both hands quite well and that have noticed it improved my left-handed writing!

I am left-handed in terms of writing. But i am right-handed for other activities, like using scissors, knives, opening bottles, everything. i think i developed this system unconsciously so i distribute all writing stuff to my left hand only, so when its tired from writing, my right hand can still do a lot of stuff for me :)
