Universal Disarmament is a Must?

Armament should be used with little Gandhism, as we are taught from childhood to not to harm others, i.e., it should be used only when the conditions are out of control, just to protect the LIFE and not to show the Power and Destroy other Countries.
Then nations should posses only those weapons which required for the self defence and repelling the terrorist groups. So friends do you think Universal Disarmament is a Must?

There will always be weapons available (try taking everyone's fists away). Mankind needs to learn to get along better instead of blaming their problems on the weapons they make.
