The water where I stay is full of chlorine does anybody know of any good water purification systems that work long term and makes the water taste similar to the bottled one?

I don't have chlorinated water right now, but when I did I hated the taste of it. What I always did was to run water into a pitcher, and let it sit overnight in the fridge before I drank from it. Chlorine dissapates quickly, plus the having it cold from the fridge makes it taste better too. Now that I'm out in the country, I have well water. That water is good (I had a chemical analysis to make sure it was pure), but...it's hard water and has to have a water softener to take out the hardness and sulfur taste. I don't like tasting the softened water, so I got one of those filtering systems that you add onto the faucet. I didn't think it would be as good as claimed, but I found out that the filter removes all that salty stuff, as well as the taste I don't care for. Now I'm hooked lol, I have to have my water gone through the filtering thingy. I'm thinking that one of those filters might help you too. The system I have is made by PUR.

Thank you I will definitely try the PUR system, because we tried the refrigeration technique and it made the water taste worst. But, thank you I was wondering which system was the best.
