How do you like being courted?

[b]Whether you are male or female how do you like being courted?
Do you still prefer the Maria Clara style that someone will play a guitar and sing some love songs for you?
Or you want something in innovative and creative ways while being courted?
Do you also want the usual style like flowers, chocolates and dolls? [/b]
Honestly in my case I don't like being courted and good thing I've never experienced that to my boyfriend because I still like the natural way from the friendship.
But if I would put myself in other's shoes especially if I am still a single then I have this thought of how I want to be courted.
I want something that is creative and innovative like a guy would do the break dance or dance like jabawokeez. If he would give me a gift then I would want fruits because that is more healthy compare to chocolates.

Maybe this was in a 'women'-category, I can't tell until too late.
I'm a straight guy, so--though I do need a 'paycheck woman' (like the Cledus T. Judd song says)--I haven't thought about how to 'inspire the girls to get up the courage to ask me out.'
How would I convince girls to court me? How do girls usually convince guys to?

I can't answer that just like it. But then if you are dating a girl and if you have feelings for her especially you have a friend that is a girl so probably you will be the one who will decide if you can court that girl.1 person likes this

I really wanted to be courted in a creative way. Every week there should be something special. Not the flowers and chocolates thingy though, something a girl will really treasure. Girls love to be treated as special, so if the girl feels like the most beautiful girl in the world as how the man would court her then what more can you ask. I won't let the guy fall out of love for me, I will really be his girlfriend the soonest time possible..lol!

hi,
for me,i would like to be courted in a way of that guy will face my parents and talk to them,because i know in my case my parents really dont want me to have a boyfriend,so for me that's the better way of showing the real and true feeling for me.

That is a good idea about courtship and yet I believe it is derive from the word courtesy so it means that it really involves respect.

No woman in this world that would not be courted, not to be admired, not to awaken in men the desire to have it closer to locate. Every day men go by: the street, looking back, we smile, sometimes we compliment, looked delighted after us ... Some of them closer and try to conquer us. For me the way to a man near me, conquer me to (even if I really like this phrase) says a lot about it and most importantly, I show the value that I attach it to me, as a woman ! And then it is easy to know whom I want, or not close to me ... who I will be friends or who will be only known ....

I think it's still romantic when a guy gives you flowers or chocolates espeically if it's unexpected =)although I don't believe in courting anymore, I feel dating is much more common these days

Dating has more sense because in the first place the girl wouldn't affirm just like that if she is not comfortable with a guy. Aside from that when it comes to courting other guys does not like it because they will tend to please the girl and just project their positive side.
