i love to read books on different subjects from medical to plants; from cookery books to environment etc...... but to buy all, it is not possibles there any website where e-books on different subjects are easily open and downloaded, i have tried hard to find out good sites,,please tell me ...

If I am not mistaken, Amazon has a "kindle" for the computer - and it's free. Then you can purchase books and even peruse a bunch of free books too.. unless they have changed something.It's great I just don't enjoy reading a book on the computer. I tried on my laptop - I would like a real kindle!

It's a really good deal but I work at my computer so much I don't want to read except when studying one particular subject or something. I thought about trying it on my laptop.. I don't want to spend the money for the kindle just yet - although I am working on it!!

Have you been to IPL.org? It's called the "internet public library" and they have tons of stuff, from magazines to full books that you can read online. If you want audio books, try librivox.org
