worst job ever

i would have to say the worst job experience i have ever had was working at mcdonald's. not only was the food preparation ridiculous but i was never trained properly and always got yelled at by the same stinking manager. also, the food that was not used at the end of the night always got thrown away. can you say WASTEFUL. don't get me wrong mcdonald's is extremely unhealthy but i don't think someone who is really hungry would turn down that perfectly edible mcdouble. after working there for a whole whopping 2 weeks i decided that the pay and the crap i was having to put up with was definitely not worth the bs. Any comments on your worst job experience?

hi bmlynn the worst job I ever had was years back in San Franscisco. I wor ked pasting wigs on minature dolls at the Nancy Ann doll factory. for every doll that the manager approved he threw ten o thes in a trash pil Iquit in a week figuring if it went on much longer I would be fired or just walk out and i needed the pay. I got a much better job as an nurses aide in the Stanford Lane hospital.but I will never gorget the Nancy Ann doll facctory.the glue they used took the skin off my hands too. it was just a really crumby jos in an off street small factory, yuck.

Ouch! Why...they don't give you any training before dispatching to your jobs?

i always try to look positive for every job that i have as i treat it as a blessing from God... i believe that there is no perfect job and i just have to tolerate it rather than complaining about it... it is better to have a job rather than to be jobless... take care and have a nice day...

Mine will be working as a clerk in a bank. It is my first job, I just photocopy and file all the documents. I did it for three months.

well i must say that the manager was useless as you never got trained and also you have to do a health and hygiene course. i have quite enjoyed my jobs, although i did 3 seasons at camelot theme park and during my last season i ended up being in charge of my outlets and just because one of the tills were down and the person using that till didnt really know what they were doing and we were short staffed, i got the blame and was accused of stealing the money. i went home in tears and never went back, and there were rumours going round that i had been sacked.

My worst job experience was with my very first job. I had worked as a caregiver at a private care facility. My job was similar to a CNA's (Certified Nurses Assistant). The only differences were I wasn't certified and I was supposed to do a lot more than a CNA. Like you, I didn't get any proper training either. The girl that was training me quit a day or 2 after I was hired so I was on my own. Talk about fun... Needless to say it was way too much for one person to handle alone...especially at the rate they were paying. So I quit 5 days later...and without notice. Boy was my boss pissed! But had they been willing to help out or not put such a heavy work load on one employee, things could have been different. By the way, the girl that trained me quit for the very same reason. The only difference was she stayed 2 weeks after she'd given her notice. Though when I think back our boss probably scared her into it! The job I have now is loaded with crap. Literally! LOL But it's still a lot better than my first job ever was as I get to be around critters. Happy mylotting!

The worst job I have ever had is probably the one I'm at now and I've been there for 9 years. The pay isn't that good, it's okay. But the management is ridiculous. It is like there is no management at all. Some the of the people that work there are okay, but for the most part they are all backstabber and gossip way too much.

7 years ago I worked in a home health care team and it was an extremely stressful job. On my first day I didn't get any introduction whatsoever. When I showed up I was told: "Two of your co-workers are ill today and you will have to do part of their work in addition to your own work" Then I got a very long list with the names and the addresses of the patients I had to visit. I worked 6 hours without a break, but I still didn't make it on time because I didn't know any of the patients or the area. Many of the patients called and complained because I didn't show up on time, and no matter how fast I was it just wasn't fast enough because of all the extra work and all the new things that I hadn't tried before. After some weeks I got to know the patients and the area better, but the was job still very stressful. We always had too many patients and we weren't able to do our work properly. The atmosphere at the place was very cold and there were many problems between the boss and the co-workers. Some of my co-workers cried at the meetings because of the problems with the boss and our boss didn't do anything to solve the problems or change the situation. After 4 months I'd had enough and I quit my job.

My first summer job was in a toy factory. A few of us were hired to move inventories and parts between different sections of the factory which was located in a 5-storey high building without an elevator. To make things worst, they have rented the top floor and the ground floor. So, I will have to walk literally hundreds of steps up and down the building daily. I have my first calf cramp in my life on the third day. I did this for 2 months because I really needed the money. Urghh.

So the worst job I ever had was at macys for the seasonal holiday. I mean talk about crazy, every single day I was there. It was christmas season and the store was packed every day, you could hardly walk anywhere. Every night I had piles of clothes to rehang after they were thrown on the floor. It was ridiculous, and some of the people we're so rude.
