Why this site called myLot?

In every site made, there's always a name. I am curious why Admin name this as myLot? Every name there's always meaning behind. I think most of the members here old and new don't know why this site bring this name. Can anybody tell me what is the meaning of myLot?

Hi Rose and welcome to myLot.
I read in an old discussion where admin explained they wanted it to be a lot of discussions and make it my - therefore myLot. Reason why they capitalized the L is because they wanted to be unique and people talk about it to make it unique.

I remember it sometime about a year ago but I suppose it was discussing how they used the capital L. I see from mysd explanation below is how they actually derive to the actual name.

Sorry I am late due to some reasons related to my job!
Anyway, although the concept of myLot is like a socialize site which you are connected to different people from all over the world, alot of members didn't consider it like facebook, myspace, friendster... to name a few. Unlike them, they are all free. Even you spend 24/7 you will not get any bonuses from there Admin. myLot give all the support and also the bonus in every participation you made such as responding discussions, uploading photos, doing a task, using myLot search engine and so on.
For me the meaning of myLot is community - where people meet together and discuss some topics that might involve in our daily living.
my - means "you" or "me"
Lot - means a community
In short "my community" or "your community"

Once upon a time we had an active admin called Crash.

I remember Alice and she had stated as I did above, well I guess she was partly right. lol - I did not have any interaction with "Crash" = no comment. lol

rose I have no idea but hardworking gurl has the answer and i will
leave that to her.I think we all feel this is my personal lot to do
with as I see fit as long as I do not break the rules here.It is
unique and we all feel like it does belong to us like my lot!

hi rose im also new here,for my opinion they called it my lot because this the site or online that you can express your feelings and ideas, or comments or any suggestions which were all rights, there is no right or wrong opinion because we have different opinion if you want to suggest or made a comments....welcome to mylot
