Okay, a friend of mine bought a high - end HDTV with LED type of television. It is pretty big like 52 inches, and he likes when he first saw it. So, he bought the television with those extended warranty besides manufacturer offered warranty. After sometime, the television starts have problem, and it is freezing from time to time. First, he thought it was the signal from DirectTV, but it also has the same problem when he play video games, or watch Blue - Ray, or DVDs. So, with the warranty on hand, he called up the service center, and they agreed to send out a technical guy to take a look at the TV. The guy replace the motherboard sort of thing inside the TV, but the problem still persisted after sometime. By then, the extended warranty was expired, and the retailer stores denied the warranty validity. But the television wasn't entirely fixed while the warranty still valid. So, I think he should go to small claim court to sue them, what do you think? By the way, extended warranty really sucks, I think we should not buy those stuff from the retailers.

I agree sue those people until your warranty is still valid you have the right to everything. Sue them before its too late. 52 inches television is really expensive. Have a refund instead if not sue them

I nver buy the extended warranty either. I would like to but it is not affordable and it does not really cover much more.

Whenever i bought something and the extended warranty was offered to me i always felt obligated to get it. In the end, the extended warranty usually expired before it was ever needed. it seemed like such a waste of money to me.
