Tracy Morgan Doesn't Get it! ( a rant)

How sad it is that a comic in 2011 would try to make being homophobic funny. he tried to make it a joke that he would stab his son if he ever said he was gay. Really? He rather have a dead son than a live gay one? That's sad not funny. The Really sad part is his son may just be hungry. This is isn't the early 1097's when gay people didn't have a voice. Today they have a voice and many have fat pocket books. i mean they can vote with their money. Meaning There doesn't have to be a march . All they have to do is not buy Any product that sponsors tracy. What is also sad is that there are many people like me who didn't know tracy until today. And now I don't care to know any more about him! So I have to ask.Would you disown a child of yours Just because he/she was gay? And are you like me, once a person shows himself to be a bigot you never listen to him/ her again?

I had read rumors over the weekend that Tracy had gone too far. Nothing explained what he had said. So, before responding here, I looked up what he had said & I was SHOCKED!!! 
Tracy has ALWAYS been very clear spoken, but he did go overboard this time. I grew up at a time that if a comedian didn't hurt your feelings, they just weren't funny!!! I find most people to be way too sensitive now days & they have lost their sense of humor!!!
Having said that, I think Tracy jumped the shark & he will be paying for it!!! I feel sorry for his children. He said that God doesn't make mistakes & I agree with that, but I in NO way find my gay friends to be mistakes. They are just as IMPORTANT to my life as my straight friends!!! It would be funny if God gave him ALL gay children so he could learn love & acceptance!!! . I don't think he even remotely meant that he would kill his child. I think he cannot imagine producing a gay child. People who can't accept that being gay is NOT a choice cannot open their mind enough to accept that God blessed us with the gay community!!!
My cousin is gay & he cannot come out due to his parents unwavering beliefs. I know they love him & would want him to be happy, yet they persecute him daily without even knowing!!!
Sorry, got lost there for a second!!! NO, I would NOT disown my child for being gay; however, I would fear for their life!!! The human race is the cruelest of the animal kingdom!!! Although I don't feel the need to attack bigots, I also would have NO problem cutting a bigot out of my life!!! I have done it in the past & would have NO problem doing it in the future!!!!

I think G-d Has a sense of humor and Tracy Will have a gay child. I love Don Rickles. He Hates everybody but his humor is aimed at a person and not a whole community. he can put down anyone in a way so even the victim laughs. But this bit was pure hatred, even if he didn't realize it.I wish Everyone could come out and be safe and free. We are working on it but we are not there yet. And if one of your kids Is gay, all you can do is be there for him/her,make it as easy as you can for them to come out and support them.Thanks for your Great response. Take Care.

My children have my unconditional love.
Sounds like Tracy Morgan has really done it this time. I think that alot of comics come on stage with puch lines ans stories that they think are funny and just end up ,aking themselves look like idiots. I like a good stand up show, but not at the cost of others.

When I hear people make prejudice jokes, I refuse to support them. If I liked them before, their behavior changes my mind, instantly.

Mine too but unlike Mel Gibson Tracy is trying to learn from this. I never was a tracy fan. In fact I had only see him on The View weeks before. So this post was easy because I will never see him again.
