Chili chocolate ice cream

I was at an ice cream parlor last weekend trying out their uniquely flavored ice cream and came across their chili chocolate ice cream. I was curious how an ice cream can be both hot and cold at the same time. Indeed it was possible at Gelatissimo! I tried it but did not order it for myself. I prefer my ice cream cold. I ordered the kiwi flavored ice cream in stead. Will you try chili chocolate ice cream and order some for yourself?

That sounds like fun! I don' think I would order it myself, but I would love to try it. I would be afraid that I would not like it and not eat the whole thing. I hear that adding a spicy pepper to a chocolate milkshake or hot cocoa tastes good, I wonder if it's similar.

Yes, i would eat that chili chocolate ice cream and would love it so much! Here in our place, since the people loves to eat spicy food, a certain restaurant concocted their own chili ice cream. My husband and i tried it once when we ate at that restaurant and we liked it so much. We would go there oftentimes, just to eat that kind of ice cream. The sensation while you eat it is amazing. It's hot , yet it's cold!

My husband likes spicy food too but he did not like chili on his ice cream! We just both wanted to satisfy our curiosity how chili would taste on chocolate ice cream. Not bad, not to my liking.

hi blungel! i'l definitely try this unique and very interesting ice cream flavor. chocolate ice cream has to be the most liked ice cream flavor among the masses. it is a favorite among kids and adults alike. adding the chili makes the flavor intriguing to say the least. i actually went to the gelatissimo website to get their store locations. i'm glad that there is one very near my place of work. for fellow mylotters that want to try this unique flavor out, here is the store locator link for gelatissimo, http://gelatissimo.com.ph/store-locator/ (***THIS IS NOT A REFERRAL LINK**). i'll post my thoughts about the chili chocolate ice cream flavor here once i've tasted it. thanks for sharing it blungel!

Interesting. I might try it. What's there really to lose besides not liking it? The kiwi flavor one sounds great too!

hello there, Chili ice cream seems intimidating to me. I watched it featured in one of the television show in my country and I was imagining what the taste is. I would probably try to taste it. It might be a better flavor.

Hmm though I like home-made chilli and I do like ice cream, somehow I can't seem to connect the two so I do not think this is something I would try. I can see a couple spoonfuls to taste but as a full item, somehow I do not think this is something I could do. Wonder if many actually buy this?

yes i would try it in a moment but unfortunately no one makes it here. It must be as delicious as hot cocoa with chili in it or a bar of chocolate with chili in it, I guess.
