hi dear dolce_vita, it would really be nice to visit the Philippines but we first got to save up quite a bit to be able to afford this. Would like to see your home country and of course eat some dishes I have heard about but cant try over here.

hi dear missybear things are not much different though the apartments here have more than one bedroom. Upstairs there is a lovely family with three kids and our neighbours on this floor have three girls too so there is plenty of yelling little feet running in the apartments etc as well. But after some time you wont really notice it any more but here I feel its too quiet for a Saturday early aft...

hmmmmm radishes and garlic sounds great. We dont have a Garden but only a balcony so I hope hubby starts with the herb garden this coming week. Cant wait to add fresh herbs to our salads

I dont think thats a biggie, every one has things he or she is not able to do or cope with even though it sounds simple. I never made a grilled cheese sandwich so I dont know my abilities there yet, but I know I have difficulties flipping pancakes over. They always tear no matter how careful I try to do that so I just got used to torn pancakes...... LOL....... But I am good at making vario...

hi dear alaskanray that place really sounds like a money pit but I am glad things are improving for you and your place gets better bit by bit. Hope you enjoy your place much more now and can start to relax and take it easy soon as the hig repairs and the most urgent ones are done. Hugs to you.

hi dear alaskanray you know I am a cat person as well and it would break my heart too seeing these poor feral furbabies. How I wish I could give two of them a proper home, I know two are not much but it would be a great start.

hi missybear I am just playing catch up with reading and commenting on a lot of stuff. Didnt know yet you hate cats. I love them and it would be wonderful if I could be cat sitting for someone. would gladly take this offer to get a little training in how to be a good can opener later when we have two kitties of our own so thats our dream.

hi missybear I never cared for dogs at all....... bark and bite monsters....... but really adored cats from when I was 4 up to now. Watching a loooot of cat videos on youtube....... waiting to have two furry friends later
