Conflict of interest is just one reason why we should question what MSM tells us. How can we be sure of what we are told by the MSM when they are controled by corporations with profit in mind.
At the beginning of the piece we hear that we used to call 'spin' lying. Now we study it to become better at it.
The video shows a report that used lies and distortions to stir up fear and racial tensions. His report is juxtaposed with a private citizens mobile phone record of JUST WHAT REALLY HAPPENED.

Wow. I knew the media lied but this illustrates it so well!
No, I don't believe most of what I see in the news, no matter who is reporting it. As the video points out, news media is biased according to whoever controls their purse strings or who can benefit them. Right now George Soros owns a lot of media so it spins left but in ten years it may be someone else that spins it to the right, the left or completely out of all reason.

Since this illustrates a PROVEN incidence of the media LYING, what do you think WE should do when it is proven that the media has lied? Is there a way to hold them accountable?

So, you wouldn't be for taking it to the courts for instance, when it is proven as in the case I used in the OP, that they lied?

I never even thought of taking it to court but that's a great idea! I wonder if they could use the freedom of expression excuse and say that was the journalist's impression and he should be able to say what he feels?
I do hope someone files suit against the station!

Oh, I'm all too familiar with deception coming from the powers that be and their cronies in the brainwashing system of our country that we call the media. It goes a lot deeper than simple lying, as that video seems to show; I'm watching it right now. I'm so glad to see that more and more people are waking up. This system is broken. We have to educate ourselves on what really is going on, what to do, anything and everything, and the answers are not going to be on NBC or Fox.
