So this week just wrapped up two major sports competition in North America. The first is the NBA finals with the Dallas Mavericks beating the Miami Heat with the score of 105 to 95 resulting in a 4 - 1 series. The second was the NHL finals with the Boston Bruins beatings the Vancouver Canucks with the final score of 4 - 0, resulting in a 4 - 3 series. Lets Discuss the Basketball games first. Now the Miami had signed two great players into their team this year, Chris Bosh, and Lebron James. This resulted in a super power team which included, Dwayne Wade. People quickly assumed that they will definitely win the finals with ease due to the skill set. But it lead to an embarrassing lost to the Dallas Mavericks. I believe it is because that players like Lebron James, will never win a championship. My reason because, he has never shown dedication to one team. Though he is considered one of the greatest basketball players, he does not have the same team dedication as Michael Jordan, or Kobe Bryant. Where those two have shown dedication to one team and evolved with that team to make them stronger. I see Lebron James as only looking for himself, not his team, for a championship ring. Now the Hockey game. This was a great series. Both Canada's Vancouver and USA's Boston show great teamwork and a true portrayal of skill in the 7 games that they played. Though Canadians are truly angry that they did not have the Stanley Cup this year, the forget that 99% of the players in Boston are Canadians. Yes there are more Canadians playing in USA's hockey team that in Canada's hockey team. The lost of Vancouver created a major riot in the city. The fans were flipping cars, burning cars, breaking everything in the street. Something I do not understand. Why would they break their own city? I would break Boston not Vancouver if I was a Vancouver fan. Keep in mind, Canada's people are considered one of the politest people in the world, a riot doesn't show their kindness. My questions are, do you believe people who show dedication to themselves in addition to others have greater success? and Do you believe it is worth it for people to act childish when they fail to receive something they desire? Or should they be mature about it and offer sportsmanship even though their not the players themselves?

As far as I know, Michael Jordan was a tyrant during his time with the Bulls. He treated his teammates negatively from time to time but it was for the betterment of the team. Although his teammates understood this and went with it through the course of the season. They believed in him that's why they won 6 championships. As for James, I think he has a lot to realize before he wins a championship. He has to have what Jordan had when he was still playing for the Bulls. Jordan had heart and authority and there's something else I just can't get my finger on.

Yea, I heard Jordan was intimidating in the locker rooms. But his intimidation was towards challenging his team mates. He did give them words, the same way he gave himself words when he felt that he was not working towards his potential. With Jordan's natural leader or alpha male attitude allowed his team to have confidence in him. Along with that his work ethic was second to none. James on the other hand is very, me me me. In his games during the cavaliers, every time he gets the ball it seemed like people just moved out of the way so he can or it seems like 1 versus 1 the person in front of him. I don't know but I just don't see him winning a championship anytime soon. Perhaps it is because he is very young and fame and power got to him quick and now he thirst for it. There are quotes that stated, Jordan was the first to be in the gym, and the last to leave. I have not heard anything from James.

Actually, when he was still playing for the Cavs, their coach instructed the ball to always circulate around James maybe that's why it seemed to you that it's always about him. Although he had this habit of shooting 3's without even passing the ball, which is, I think, a selfish move.

I agree that the best team wins while the team with the best players is not always the champion. Does this mean that our fans are becoming like the Soccer fans world wide?
