Today to the supermarket to buy watermelon,please supermarket workers to pick two watermelon,to the home,away,ah,all are not ripe,of course,is not good.The summer,we all like to eat watermelon,but how to just can pick up good watermelon?What skill?Thank you!

Here in our country, we do not have to go to the supermarket to buy fruits. We can just go to the wet market and buy them. The vendor would cut the watermelon in half so that buyer can see if it is really ripe. He will even let you taste it before buying. This is for you t make sure that it is sweet and ripe. As per my aunt, you can tell if the watermelon is ripe by looking at its bottom. If it has a yellow or light bottom it is ripe. If the stripes are still very visible around it, it is not yet ripe. You can also tap the watermelon, if it sound hollow, it is already ripe. If it doesn't sound hollow, then it is not yet ripe. I hope this helps you.

You are detailed introduced!This is the best way to choose watermelon...Ha ha,thank you very much! I live near a three large supermarket,we only have to get supplies are almost to the supermarket.Of course,there are farmers markets,but it's too far. Happy every day!

Hello Dong! I would like to share my opinion regarding to your concern. To choose a good watermelon is simple. Always assess first before buying it. Check every detail of the fruit. The color, texture, and even the smell. It's really simple to choose a good watermelon as long as you gain the skill of assessment. :)

I like watermelons in the summer too. I can usually get them in the supermarket but there are farms in my area where you can go and choose one too.

I love watermelon but in my house my kids make a mess with it. I buy smaller chunks in order to keep the mess down. Or if we will be outside at a picnic I will buy a whole melon. It is tasty.

Hold water melon by your right hand, choose watermelon that weight.... Look the twig or leave on the up side of watermelon, choose watermelon that have dry twig or dry leave... That's all I know...I hope you good luck :-D

Choose a melon with the relatively small circle among watermelons there. - If there is a section on the surface of the watermelon that was yellow. Choose a melon with yellow relative of the oldest among the existing watermelon.
