In life donate blood, in death, donate eyes. That should be the motto in life of every human being because blood can save a life and eye can make a man see the life.

Yes, both you and your mom are helping the helpless in the way which is humanly possible. I hope if we all come forward for the purpose and try to give a message to those who are not so far aware of these, it will be the best thing a man can do for the society.

ofcourse when every human being is on right path and is honest then this would work.I f the donated things or parts are used for the needs and not for any selfish needs then every person will come forward to do. Doctors and hospitals should prove themselves for such things. They should show proof that all the donated parts are used only for the needy and with out any selfishness. Every part of the human body can be donated .Every one should give or donate blood. It can save life.We can not manufacture these. So every perosn should be to this.

I used to donate blood and even plasma. Thanks to a mistake made in the lab, when they did a routine blood test on my blood (which they do every 6 months when you give plasma),I can't give either anymore! They said I had a false positive blood test for syphillis! I know they f(cked my test up! I have not neen with a man in like 16 years! There is no way I would of have a blood test come back like that! So I am banded from giving either one! If I had the money I would of sued over that test! This happen like 6 years ago and i still am angry about it! I can't help people and I lost out on $200.00 a month in income! With my eyes, they can have them! I am sure they can use a pair of nearsided eyes for someone!

First of all, I want to convey you that plasma is blood minus the cells that is to say, blood = plasma + cells. If you were a victim of syphilis 6 years ago, you had some symptoms and signs during this long period unless you had undergone any treatment. Have you so far undergone any treatment? If not, then it can be easily presumed that the blood test was false.

I know what plasma ios for goodness sake! I mention it because it helps people out, too! I mentioned the syphilis part and I you miss understood me! I never had it! I had a false negative blood test!!! It first came up positive and then they did a retest and it came up negative! So I ended up with a false negative blood test! I never had syphilis at all!So I can not give blood or plasma!!!!! I know the the lab that tested my blood screwed my test up the first time! Thanks to that f(cked up test I can't give blood or plasma ever again!! I hope that got it cleared up! I am getting sick of being a excused of something I never had!!!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with you on that line, I'm a full body donor and so are my kids so that when we die, we'll be able to help a few people out. As for giving blood, I can't because of my medication. Otherwise I would.

Yes, that is a good motto. Although I haven't donated blood yet, I plan to. Is it only the eyes that can be donated when you die though? How can you do that? I have always wondered, do you sign something to donate your organs?

Where did that come from? Never heard it before. I can't give blood cause my veins are too small. But when I die I do give my organs. If anything is still workable by then. Hehe It will be a long time from now. Maybe they're won't be any more donating of organs because they can reproduce them by then.

I have donated blood for 22 times now and have not make any agreement to donate any part of my body yet. Will do it when I am ready for that. Donating blood is really something good and it really help to save someone life. Especially with my blood group of AB+, this type of blood is quite rare from what I know.
