No technology is 100 percent safe. So when any new technology is introduced we must be mentally prepared to accept the hazards which may subsequently be evolved; otherwise the technology should be left aside to keep ourselves safe.

I agree with you on this one. I mean, if you're going to consider the little things, yep, nothing is safe. The word "safe" here means a lot and can be subjective depending on who's reading it. The smallest things like a babies rattle can be harmful to any adult because it can cause boredom, right? But when it comes to really modern technologies like cellphones, there really are hazards we have to consider. For instance, mobile phones emit radiation so we have to consider that. As a safety measure, we have to limit out use of it.

Yes, radiation from cell phones is likely to be carcinogenic. So we must be cautious while using a cell phone.

Really? To think that I used to be on the phone talking to someone all the time just makes me feel terrified reading this. We really have to take in what has to be understood before using a modern gadget. They should also include these hazards in their packages in order for the consumers to be aware of it's dangers.

I think that you are completely right on this one. However, I think that it needs to go further than saying that no technology is 100 percent safe. What I really think it should say is that there is nothing in life that is 100 percent safe. Everything that we do in our lives, including the most innocent things that we do are dangerous to a certain extent. Think about the fact that many people say that the foods that we eat could cause cancer.

but if there is no technology or no new upgraded and updated technology, then, we humans will probably left in the old drawing board....

I certainly agree with you on the fact that no technology is 100 percent safe and I would in fact go even further to say that no piece of technology is without it's risk of toxicity and waste going into the earth and air. Just the production of electronics and other technology alone is enough to produce way too much noxious gases for our atmosphere. This isn't to mention the kind of toxic waste that computers and other gadgets leak into the ground once they are added to landfills and other piles of garbage we as humans have created. Pretty much anything man made has plenty of consequences and negative effects on the planet because human beings have been rushing on production and have been trying to make the cheapest products possible so that way they can in turn make as much profit as possible. You can only expect so much when there are so many items created with the sole intention of greed behind them.

Yes, computer waste popularly known as e-waste is now a cause of great concern to the environmentalists. If not checked immediately, it may play havoc in the coming future.

Technology can be a curse as well as blessing to human. Each and everything that is been on earth has good as well as bad effects, technology has we say cannot be safe take an example of computers though new inventions have come up of LEDS but the radiation to our eyes are still affected through UV rays, also the invention of mobile has made it lot easier for us to to communicate anytime between our friends that's the greatest thing we are having but on the other side we have this radiation effect of cancer coming in towards us which is also harmful so Technology is always not 100 percent safe it have Positive and as well as negative effects.

That is to say, every blessing is mixed with some sort of curse.

true.... just like saying.... No Computer Programs or Softwares is 100% error free.... all has a different form of bugs.... some are Beta for testing....

They don't even test for hazards until several years after a products is out and being used. Or the finding don't appear until then anyway. Technology will never be left aside because there is too much money to be made. Just like with all the larger companies. Tabbaco, oil, etc.

If we had such forsight that would be great. However, at the getgo the idealizisms may well get the idea rolling, as with Einsten and splitting the atom for energy source but those other options the idealists didn't see, as with the military and atomic weaponry, come along and make us question the value of our technologies. The problem s not with the technology but wth the uses to which it is put by those that use it. Enjoy!

I am agree with you, that no technology is 100 % safe. But for this reason we can not refuse to adopt new technology. We can reduce its side effect by using it intelligently. At present mobaile radiation are destroying our eko system.

Maturing a technology is a cycle of number of iterations. A new technology is never perfect or we can say it has a number of problems which are solved from time to time. And perhaps everything has its pros and cons and the effect of something can be worse if it is technology and the same applies for technology too.. Have a nice day!

You are right my friend no technology is 100 percent safe because new technology is launched but the proper tools are not available for using this. Lots of problems may be face when we are using this new technology because its rule is changed, way of using is changed, functions is changed. nice discussion.

I totally agree with all of you. Simply put, since life itself isn't safe because we are not perfect. Thus, weaknesses found in any technology is but a by-product of human imperfection. Besides that, creative technology is always changing to meet human needs over time. The best we can do is to make the most out of it within that given time, either by improving on the flaws discovered with its usage or come up with a totally new technology that can help humans to progress.

Technology poses a great problem and future generation. The impacts which come with technology is unpreventable. Some people have lost their lives and property worth millions destroyed by the fact that people are trying new technology. People should take caution when applying technology or planning to use one.

As per my think every technology brings new Idea. So there is so risk to create new Idea. Sometime old technology better then new technology. So when new technology arrived at this time we need to compare both technology.

hmm i agree with you. yes it does not mean that just so it is technology and it is modern.. it does not mean that it is safe, reliable and correct all the time at 100% no flaws.

I accept that there are problems with technology however it is pretty undeniable that overall it has made our lives better overall.we live longer, easier, safer and better quality lives.at the moment we are at the peak of human development and thing continue to get better dosent that excite you.

It seems to me that now a days nothing is truly safe. Technology itself is perhaps the unsafest. It is up to the individual user to assure safety at all times. The only way to do so would be to slow down a bit and really think about how they are using technology and try not to make quick snappy decision. Fraud/Scam can occur in the split of a second, therefore careful and slow thinking to assess all uses would be the best route. Seems the old phrase if it is too good to be true, it just might be, needs to be remembered at all times.

You could be right friend , if ancient man did not learn the technology to make fire then he would be vulnerable to wild animals or may lose he's way, but the technology also made it unsafe because of the risk of fires and burning and inhaling smoke.

Totally agreed with you. In fact, technology is not used only for safety purpose but also to pose some unavoidable hazards to particular person.

yeah ,that may be an idea of how dealing with the matter - you're right dude . However, leaving technology aside isn't a good idea- because ,if we did not had technology we would not have clothes to wear , we wont had a warm meal to eat , we won't had smart phones ,nothing of the actual world- we even won't have internet nor airports -- so YEAH TECHNOLOGY HAS TWOFOLD EFFECTS ON OUR SOCIETY BUT , WE SHOULD TAKE THE RISK TO PERFORM IN THIS SOCIETY ,AND TO MAKE OUR TECHNOLOGY TENDING TO THE GREATEST PROBABILITY OF BEING 100% EFFICIENT .
