Is it just me? (Gateway EV910, Windows XP, Google Chrome ... I forget how to find out how much memory-&-stuff my computer has/uses/wastes) i.e. is there anything Chrome-users/Windows XP-users/Gateway-users can do to make it faster?

Hi Mythociate, I find Chrome a quite faster now compared to my other browsers. I also have faster connection, so i can feel games are not much slow. I recently was using Chrome and find it so good. Cheers

hi my dear friend, i think you are veyr much right. i love to play games and i have played on many other sites too but i dont remember that the way facebook games go, the other sites's games also go in the same slow way. i get so bored up in the facebook games part that when ever i go and play, before finishing, finishing also is too far, before playing good, i start feeling bore. they are so slow that i loose my tempo of playing them. i use to love poker, zoombies, salon and there are so many but then they are so slow that what to play. one starts geeting bore very fast.

I remember years ago I would open my bible while waiting to advance to 'the next screen' playing games online (mostly on Facebook). It would get to where I spent most of my 'Facebook games'-time READING!

I think it's the site. I have played poker on there and sometimes it was terrible. I would just give up. Any other site I have ever used to play games does just fine..it's just facebook I think.

Chrome and IE...IE is always slower no matter what site it is but when I used Chrome and it acted the same way sometimes..I knew it was probably site over load.

I think it's your browser that's why the games are slow. Facebook games usually works well using Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Although in Explorer, loading webpages really takes some time. I suggest you just switch to Firefox if you're an addict of Facebook games.

Yeah, that sounds better than an upgrade or a replacement computer (which cost money )

I think I'll stick with FireFox (which you had told me JUST ABOVE to switch to) until I get a new PC.

ya mythociate i agree with you the main reason for slow gameplay in facebook is low ram,Minimum recommended ram is 1gb if you have less than 1 gb then u faced trouble inplaying game. Please do following thing for fast speed. 1-Update your flash version. 2-Update your browser. 3-add 1gb ram module to your pc hopes this help you...

I've got 8 or 9 gb free for use, and chrome is said to be automatically updating Flash (i.e. why it won't let me 'update Flash'), so it must be I oughta download FireFox

david15923 is right. The games may be slow due to your internet connection or the configuration of your computer. If your computer is outdated then purchase a new computer or upgrade your existing computer.

it could be your computer that is old or it could be the internet speed that is also slow. and see if you dont have any kind of download going because thats going to slow down your internet speed. try to get a better computer or upgrade it (its more cheap) ;)
