Growing up i used to do really well in school. As the years went by and the material got tougher, i found myself struggling. My parents have always tried to support me but always said "you could have done better". i don't understand how i could do better than giving it my all. I get Cs and Bs a lot and the occasional D. Lately (due to bad events in my life) my grades just are horrible. I failed college and now im struggling to take summer classes to get back in on top of all the other things i need to do while i am home for the summer ( like a job and license and stuff). I feel like im just set to fail bc every time i start digging my way out of this mess, something comes along and pushes me right back in. It's like a never ending cycle and i get a migrane everyday trying to figure all this out. if you know a way to sort all this stuff out feel free to help me. i would highly appreciate it :)

I think this is because you are over-thinking everything. Remember that college life is a 'training ground' of how it would feel like when you are in the 'real world'. You should not struggle to get grades, you should struggle to get something out of ti. You are one of the lucky few who got to college in the first place, that makes you 'better' than the majority. Further, if you're doing your best and still flunking, isn't this a sign perhaps that you are not fit to the profession or course you've chosen? I wouldn't be easy but if you really love what you're doing, you'll see the good side of things. Nobody says school won't be tough, but it shouldn't be a suffering either. As for your parents, I'm sad to say that there really are parents who just don't see the efforts of their kid. Does it make them bad parents? No, they sent you to school, that means they love you. But remember, your future is not in the hands of your parents, if you just listen to their complaints all the time, you would only be frustrated. Live you life and make the most of it. Lastly, if I were you, you should learn to manage time and when one thing or a strategy don't work - don't be afraid to revise it! Further, you should watch the move entitled "3 Idiots" it's a Hindi movie and it's about college life, you will appreciate school and life better if you watch that. Find a version with an English subtitle. Good luck. Have a great MyLot experience today!

Well you have to concentrate more in your studies than other activities for time being.it is very important to complete school. It is not that difficult if you put 100 % effort.problems are there in everybody's life but you need to have patience.Listen to your parents. They have given you the chance to see this beautiful world.mabe they cannot afford you every thing you want but they will give you good advice.talk to your parents or anyone whom you really trust about your problems whatever it is.then concentrate on your priorities. You will definitely succeed.

You sound like my female version, only your situation sound better. I wouldn't want to bore you with my college failure story, so I'll just go ahead to the good part. May I suggest prioritizing things in life, building a good study habit and making sure nothing else hinders your schedule when it's school time. Don't be a superwoman, multitasking and doing many things at the same time, you'll end up not finishing any or finishing everything with a bad result. I call myself the jack of all trades, master of none. I know a lot of things but consider myself a loser. It's too early for you to be one so stand up and figure it out yourself. Nobody knows yourself better than you, so weigh things up and see where they fit. Do them by priority and do them well and good. Good luck! You seem like a strong person.

Honestly, Nothing is Good enough in human life. This will never end. but catch is , if it ends... life ends. Just keep fighting, because when you drop fighting then you will be a failure. Failing is not to fail... Failing is to fail in trying. Don't worry about education, Knowledge comes automatically. Just Do what you want to.
