today is a Philippine holiday!

hmmmm.. let me think.. i was just watching showtime yesterday and got kind of pissed because i was supposed to renew my nbi clearance however, since it was a holiday, it is closed. sad:) i still have to work so good thing there is a 30% additional for yesterday's pay. still loving the day..

Hi chiyosan! Yep, it's a good weather today alright! Perfect for this holiday! I'm also enjoying this long weekend! Perfect timing for a rest after a busy week and also perfect rest to start the incoming busy week! This weekend also gave me time to a lot of things that I should get done including finalizing a dance presentation for our company program.^^ It's really good that the weekend is extended today. I have also heard that it is still raining in some parts of the country. I sympathize with those that could not enjoy this holiday due to the rain but I'm really happy that the rain has stopped. But that reminds me, I will be going to the office later.

I almost forgot it's a holiday today until I received a text message from someone from my team asking if we can go to work on dress-down (we STILL have work today unfortunately). Weather isn't good from where I'm at, rain's been on and off. It's stopped for now but it's dark outside and it's just looming ready to strike when you least expect. But at least it's better now. Yesterday the rain was non-stop.

Yes, it is a holiday here. I slept most of the da yesterday with my kids and husband. So today, hubby and I are planning to go malling without the kids. We seldom do this together since we got kids and this holiday is an opportunity for us to be alone together. I love holidays that fall on a Friday or Monday. It gives us more time to rest and be with our family. Thanks to Rizal, we are enjoying this wonderful day.

Yep, it's a holiday but I still have work. But looking on the bright side, I got a chance to travel smoothly on the roads with no traffic and not much hustling and bustling from busy people. However, the rain keeps on pouring and there is a typhoon. Much to my dismay was that my umbrella gave up on me. I just hope I get the holiday right next time and I'll spend it sleeping away!
