Rainy day, I don't need to turn on the A/C tonight

After 2 weeks long of hot summer day, I have to turn on the A/C to resist the heat, and I just worried about the utility bill at the end of the month. Luckily, today after work, we got storm passing through, and surely it cools the heat down a bit. From 90 some degrees down to 88 degrees. At least I don't have to turn on the A/C at home for tonight. I hope tomorrow the temperature will be kept on around 80 degrees.

I have also the same experience; it has been raining here in Kolkata for the last two days, the temperature has already cooled down, so I too did not have to turn on the A/C at home for the last two days. Automatically, I will have to pay less after this month on the electricity bill.

The weather has been changing day to day, one day cold, another day, rainy, another day hot. It's pretty amazing. It was pretty rainy yesterday, making it pretty hard to drive. Today, bright and sunny. Any way, summer has arrived, and hope it will be nice and pleasant.

If it is humid and above 74 at night, I need at least a fan on to be able to sleep, otherwise I wake up from being too hot. It is good you are able to sleep when it is 80! I would be tossing and turning all night.

The weather in our place has been cool for the last few days too. The low pressure area has been bringing in constant raindrops refreshing the surrounding and giving us a chance to save on electric power. Yes, we no longer need to turn on the air-conditioning unit not even the electric fan. I'm glad the rain is constant but not too hard to cause a flood. I would hate the rain if it does. I love this kind of weather... moderately wet and cold. This is better than very hot and sweaty day.

For the past days, the weather is cooler. This is because every now and then, the rain would pour, here in our place. Because of this, at night, there's no need to turn the A/C anymore. Even electric fans could just be in a low , rotating setting only. AT least we are able to cut on our electricity cost.

Rainy days do have benefits on Electricity consumption. Let's just all hope that the rains don't cause too much flodding elsewhere. It's good to make sure that you fully utilize the time that the A/C is switched on, like checking the timer and temperature settings and occassionally cleaning the unit to ensure that dust don't hamper its operation. Hope you enjoy the rainy days!

It went up to 105 degrees a few weeks ago in my area, and every air conditioner was on in my house that whole week, I'm happy it's cooled down here too. If only there weren't such days as hot, sweaty, muggy weather days..
