It is official! Gay marriage is legal in New York! The bill to legalize gay marriage pasted in the New York Senate! Now gay people can marry where the gay rights began! I'm so happy I can burst. Now gay couples can marry ! Fantastic. Your thoughts.

It had to happen, it was just a matter of time!Canada has had Gay Marriage for a racoon's age, and its the only way to go. We have a gay male married couple next door and they are great neighbors. These people deserve the best, and they have been receiving the worst.

No worries, I like them Both. I totally agree! Gay people ae just people. Many are living as married already. They are raising kids. Now they can make it legal and Finally they can go see their spouse when he/she is in the hospital. their can protect each other's property! No longer can the parents of one come a scoop up the house or any other assets just because they weren't married . Plus, this law is written in away that you don't have to be a resident! Many can fly in and ger married! I'm so happy!This ironic to my friends. I'm straight and the last , I mean the last thing I would want to do is get married! But I believe Everyone should have the right to get married!

I am happy about that also. It's about time. I do not see what all the fuss is anyway. Look, if they want to get married and deal with all the problems of married couples, then go right ahead. Hey, they will now have to deal with divorce. Man is that a financial killer, I know. But, I am glad they got their way, they deserve it.

I have been saying this for years! Gay people aren't special! They should be able to lose half their sh!t like everyone else!

I agree that gay and lesbian rights are civil rights as well as other right to have their own culture, creed an race. Let´s hope this is a step towards better human beings.
