Hello Lotters, I hope he doesn't get into trouble or anything, but i don't think this isn't a good time for recording yourself in a high fly training exercise. that's just like a driver on a public utility vehicle who kept sending and receiving sms messages while driving. i wonder what happens if there's a missile heading at them and HE keeps looking at the camera. Though i can tell, it's just a training plane, still, it's an exercise. to be honest, i don't mind replacing them, maybe i can inspire myself to be in the sky and monitor people below..instead of the camera. not a referral LINK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J58kbt5ImHQ

He be very careful with that toy, ahem sorry I mean aircraft , I'm not familiar with the features of that plane but I think it's a training aircraft and I'm not sure if it has an auto pilot and things like sophisticated equipment, what I do know is that the Italian made Aermacchi s-211 aircraft has a bad record, of the 25 we bought ( only 60 were sold), only 15 are in service and only six are air worthy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aermacchi_S-211 , we have used that extensively in counter insurgency, but I do believe that we should shop for more modern aircraft if we have to defend our territory from external aggression , he be careful with that, not only can we afford another crash but that's tax payer's money, our money, your money and mine, maybe some rich peace loving nation like us would like to donate what they do not need to nice Filipinos, no maybe we should wake up and produce our own hehehe

Hello Louievill, You mean Jet fighter of some kind. i thought before they are still using it but it's i think a training craft now, but they did use this in battle in Mindanao. well, there are even more cheaper but modern kind of ground assault air craft. am sure they are maintaining it very well despite how old it is. well, it's hard to produce our own.

No it's the other way around friend, it's a trainer jet and that is what it was designed for, but I think could be refitted, maybe they thought it would be cheap and it would just be used for counter insurgency anyway where we have superior air power, hahaha, local insurgents do not have an air force, well I think 15 of those were locally assembled, and I do not discount the ingenuity nor the capability of the Filipinos that's why they are so much in demand abroad, they are just not given much support here, that's why we have no other recourse but to beg in order to modernize, anyway if we have to defend our territory or defend against an external threat, what we need are F-16s, no we cannot afford F5Es and F5Fs right now but we can afford F-16s especially if big brother gives a soft package and we reduce corruption so we can pay them and buy more, I have no doubt as to the capability of the Filipino pilot and our ability to maintain, we just have to pay them more so they do not go and leave us for abrouad

some rumored that a s211 has lock out on an f18 jet. well, just a rumor, our pilots are veterans.

I suspect that if his superiors get wind of this his career may be short lived. The trouble with posting yourself doing something you should not be on the web is that the wrong people sometimes see it!

Hello Memnon, That is likely even more sad. there are only a handful number of Filipino Pilots in the country and some of them have either took another job in the airlines or just quit. only a few people sees it but when ever i watch it makes me so proud that despite of the problems of this country, we were able to have pilots such as these.
