My daughter died in hospital when she was 3months old, I & my wife cried, and try to call him - my close friend, to ask him to call some of my friends who was visit my daughter when she in hospital. But he reply my call by an sms and said "I'm sorry about your daughter, I CANT help you, you just call them by yourself, you have their number". .... That's all ... I was shocked... I just thought that in this situation, i'm trying to complete my daughter's funeral... I wondering he was worthy of my good friends? What should I treat to him?

So sorry to hear that. My condolences. Anyway, I don't think he is not a true friend. A true friend is someone you can lean on especially in your trying and grieving times, someone who will be willing to extend help even you don't need one.

He does not sound like he is really a good friend at all. If I had a friend who was dealing with something as horrible as the loss of a child I would step up and help them out as much as I could. I am sorry about the loss of your daughter.
