I've searched for new hangouts and restos, and tries looking for existing mylot discussions on this. Unfortunately the last topic was 5 years old and outdated, I mean Literally! Mall of Asia was still new when the topic was started! I haven't got the chance to browse around the Metro in a while and was wondering if there are any good places to hangout with friends. So anyone here have any idea? Since we are a mixture of south and north people, we were thinking somewhere in the Makati, Taguig, Pasig, San Juan area. But if you have suggestions on the Alabang, manila or Quezon City side it would still be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Wow that's a comprehensive list. Were leaning more on dining and just reminiscing, hanging out and catching up. SO clubbing is out! Cyma is also in greenbelt 3 right? I'll look into El Pirata and thr cuisine. Videoke is also a good idea, Which is better though, platinum or chicago?

Paella in El Pirata is good There is also a Cyma in Greenhills Platinum and Chicago both good the difference is Platinum looks more elegant and quite expensive than Chicago Try Redbox in Makati they offer eat all you can buffet for two hours (as far as I recall) aside from videoke they also have a mini stage with drums and other instruments and you can play billiards too.... have a nice day!

I'm not a party person so I don't have any ideas for hangouts like bars and such. What I do know are restos but my knowledge is not that extensive. You can try Cajun in Megamall or in Retiro. They have the best dishes in my opinion. Their soup is to die for.

Thanks for the response. We're not looking for bars, just looking for a place where we can reminisce and catch up is all. I've seen Cajun in megamall before. I have never tried it before tho. You mentioned their soup, which one in particular is the best? And what other dishes can you recommend?

My cousin has her new resto although small in Taguig near Market market. There's a place there where you can find rows of small but cozy resto where call centers agents are the regular clients.
