Our new pet - the Bearded dragon!

We have just recently bought a new pet which is a bearded dragon. He is already so full of character and we have chosen to name him Zeke.
He has a slightly yellow tinge to him and is absolutrly lovely! Does anyone here on mylot own a bearded dragon and what are their names?

Congrats on your new pet. I've never owned any sort of reptiles. I tend to prefer larger, fluffy mammals.. like cats. I owned a hamster once, but the cats ate it. I had a bunny once too, but my son accidentally dropped a bed on it (the bunny got under the bed, and my son picked up the bed to get the bunny out.. very tragic).

We have had a gecko before but, first time we have owned a Bearded dragon! He really is so amazing!

Yeah. We had dogs at one point too, but ended up needing to get rid of them.. we just weren't ready for dogs yet. We seem to do allright with cats.

My best friend owns a bearded dragon! he's sooo cute! and when you scratch his head, he closes his eyes like a dog or a cat would. His names Spike.. and he's a light grey, almost dusky pink colour! i've never really been one for reptiles, i mean i love geckos, and have always wanted a gecko tattoo, but Spike is really lovely. although i haven't quite mastered being able to deal with his food.. crickets etc.. no can do i'm afraid haha!
