do you drink enough water?

ok,lets be real,who actually drinks 8 glasses of water a day?i drink at least 1 big glass of water a day,but i do not drink anywhere near 8 glasses,what about you.i admit i drink too much soda but am trying to slow down,love my dr. pepper

drink 8 glasses of water! I don't by anyway drink up to that.... Although i have read and heard people say that drinking alot of water makes you healthy,also drinking water before and after eating... Sometimes i do forget to drink water after eating....lol

I usually able to drink eight glasses of water a day. As soon as I wake up in the morning, I drink half or one glass of water before taking a cup of coffee. I have the habit of putting a glass or a tumbler of water on top of my table while doing my office work. From time to time I walk towards the pantry area to replenish my empty glass. I must admit that once in a while I could not reach the minimum of eight glasses a day especially during those days that I am attending meetings because I tend to forget standing up during the discussion just to get a glass water and sometimes it is awkward to rise while meeting is still going on.

Drinking water is very beneficial in our lives. I drink mostly about 3 big glasses of water daily. My parents always keep on telling me about the health benefits of drinking water. They say it gives a glow to the skin increases the metabolism rate and gives added plus point to your health. I make it a point to drink about 3 glasses of water daily. But drinking around 8 glasses is quite difficult specially in winter season drinking 1 glass is very hard. In summer around 6 glasses easily goes into our body. In normal time i just go with 3 glasses of water daily.

Since I got my new apartment almost all my drinks are water bottles, but over time, water gets boring to just drink. So I had to buy some of those packets like those small squirt water enhancers like the "Mio", and those flavor packets such as "Arizona Green Tea". However, i'd stay away from those that have Aspartame in them. It's in almost every pack of candy, and it ain't good for your health.

Hi punkgurl73,well the healthiest way to drink water is atleast 8 glasses a day as per a doctor recommended. But during working hours I wasn't able to drink a plenty of water, though I am thirsty at times I forgot that I need to drink some water. Atleast 5 glasses of water is the minimum for me now, but I am doing my best not to make this habbit since its very hot in this country I worked for. It is good that we should have time to drink water to replenish our body and stay healthy as ever. Water is the best remedy to remove all the toxins inside our system. Keep it up and keep on posting... Aim high in mylot.

The least amount of water I drink a day would be around five glasses. Most of the time I drink about 8 or more actually because if I an at work I actually drink more because I have a huge Starbucks tumbler of about 800 ml and I drink about 4 of those everyday.

I drink more than 8 glasses a day, sometimes up to 16 glasses. I do it because of depression my heart felt empty and I fill it with water. After drinking, I feel contented. Anyway drink more water is good what.

In fact i also don.t drink enough water.specialist says tht 8 glas of water is necessory for health.bt my prob.is tht i forget.i don.t drink soda or any type of cold drink.as i know it just harm my body.i don.t want to say name bt in indian research,some of cold drinks was much dangerous for health bcoz it was melted pesticides.so i prefer to take juice.bt forget to drink water.now after i will try to drink enough water.

i think i no drink enough water. Normally i use drink 2~4 cups only. if got exercise , maybe be would more than 5 cups. I know this is bad , but i still lazy to take it.

Well, i admit i don't drink 8 glasses of water a day! lolz. I am always advice our patience to drink 8 glasses of water because it good for health and also to prevent dehydration due to the topical weather. Perhaps, i forget to drink due to many things to be done but i really tried to make it 8 glasses a day but really its hard to drink that much! hahah

A few months ago I was drinking more than that. I was trying to make an effort and drink a lot of water. But I have to recognize that right now the amount of water I drink is really low. I am drinking more soda and I don't want to! I want to be healthy and make some changes in my diet, but I am so bad for that!

Starting your day with water right when you get up may help. That's what I do. If you don't buy the soda, you won't be able to drink it! :)

That's what I usually do too. I drink water first thing in the morning but still I feel taht I am not reaching the eight glasses of water necessary for the day. Maybe I should have a container ready which contains the appropriate amount needed and always check if I get to empty it within a day. What do you think?

I try to drink 8 glasses a day, but it is so hard. Also when yu doing something yu sometimes forget. Another thing is that drinking soda is not like drinking water, I think drinking soda is just like drinking sugar.

I agree about soda being like drinking sugar. Water flushes you out and hydrates you. Soda is like liquid empty calories.

Yeah, me too! I always have in my mind to drink at least eight glasses of water daily. That's the plan always but I always end up drinking less than eight in a day. I always forget to drink water. This is really bad for me beacuse I perspire a lot and urinate a lot!

I drink about three to four bottle water in a day. When I was pregnant that was a different story, I drank more coke than I drunk water some times I went a day without drinking any water. I know that's bad especially when your pregnant but I just craved coke so bad.

Do you have one of the sports water cups? You can get 20+ oz out of one of them and can easily refill with ice and let the heat the heat do the rest. Meantime, tell yourself that you're doing something good for you when you drink water and you will see the results. I'm not saying give up the other drinks entirely but restrain it. Good luck!

I don't think i drink 8 glasses or half of this a day. Sometimes, i just drink a bottle of water a day which is about 500ml. I drink quite little water a day which the consequence is i easily get sole throat, sick. Therefore, actually water is very important to our healthy.

Sometimes.. I can't drink enough water when I'm working, office work will lessen your drinking water.. its cold and you just sit there and face the computer.. no physical hard work... its really impossible for me to drink 8 glasses of water..=(

I take much care in drinking water. When I get up in the morning, I drink 2 glasses of warm water immediately after the mouth wash. Sometimes I drink 2 glasses of warm cumin water, ie water mixed with cumin powder boiled and made lukewarm. Before going to bed also, I drink a glass of warm water mixed with Triphala powder, and then a glass of plain warm water. In between, I drink as much water as I feel drinking, but at least half-an-hour after breakfast, lunch and dinner. Taking water keeps your bloodstream free from toxins, and keeps your kidneys healthy. I've seen people suffer from kidney stones, the reason being not drinking enough water every day. Drinking soda is not a good habit and you must stop at once. Instead, you can keep cumin water with you all the day and drink through out the day.

look punkgiurl we are not all like you and its real a lot of us specially us diabetics do drink 8 to ten glasses of water,juice,tea and coffee a day as we are not all teens or twenties and u s older ones do care about being healthy. If you do not slow do wn on sugary sodas like DR. Pepper you will find yourself one day being another diabetic statistic as too much calories that are empty can lead to overweight.overweight is on of the leading causes of type 2 diabetes. I do drink enough water as I force myself to for my health's sake.ten lashes with a wet noodle punkgurl lol lol
