Have anyone know this means? I got this virus from my office and it's infect my PC, this is so terrible! Anything that plug to my computer, will be have this two virus and they will be four shortcuts (I don't know where they come from, maybe the virus). How to resolve this? Am I must to format the windows? I've tried many antivirus, and it's useless.

I'm not sure about recycler but autorun.inf is a virus. My laptop was infected with this virus once probably from an infected USB.I tried several antivirus and I only removed it using ESET node antivirus.Try to observe your computer after you remove the virus. If it's not functioning well, then you really need to reformat your windows.

friend, I have also tried many antivirus software's, nothing will be useful if it has entered your system. But if you have a good antivirus, it will not allow virus like these to enter your system. Thats what I have experienced.

This virus is both activate both on your system and out of your system meaning even if you tried to format your computer you will need a new hard drive and never used your old hard drive because all the files on it are infected

for me these are viruses. I have also faced this situation,Its very annoying when you have these two files in the system. it will be there in every drive. I have formatted the windows and now its virus free. surely antivirus will not be able to remove this(from my experience). after formatting and installing, now i have installed "USB disksecurity" and "bit defender" as my trusted antivirus, because these help me to detect this autorun.inf and recycler. And if you dont wish to format, then you can delete this by using ubuntu livecd. it will help to enter your system using ubuntu os and recycler and autorun.inf can be deleted from that platform. but you cannot delete the files from c drive.

I have this virus in my pendrive. I have tried everything I know and I could through the internet to remove it, but even after formatting the virus keeps coming back again and again. I was not able to remove it. I hope somebody has good solution to remove the virus.

normally autorun program and recycler install on your pc and they generate some events when your pc made the bootstrap so naturally in the case of viruses or hreats they are linked to them in this way you can delete the file infected but the recycler will re-generate the infection and so your pc is still unhealthy..normally to delete them you should scan the ahrd disk but even the registry keys because in amny cases recyclers hide there!!

I know it is a virus and can be deleted when a good anti virus is used. As someone said, try ESET. If once it is removed then keep the anti virus with which you removed it. It is an irritating virus because it gets created in every folder in your hard disk. Good luck to you.

I think he is talking about the virus which is of the same name, and they are created in every folder. I remember it like this. Maybe i have forget about it because I encountered this virus a long time ago.

Well, I think you are very much confident about the virus and you know it well. I think I got confused with the other virus which creates the folder inside a folder with the ".exe" extension to the folder name. Once it is created it do not get deleted due to that virus. It will be deleted only with good anti-virus. I don't remember the name of that virus. Do you know about that?

previously I have seen both the virus in my computer..and it came through an usb pendrive to my PC.. I removed them with an updated antivirus. ...and you can not delete those two files manually easily... to delete those files you need some dos comments.

actually, recycler.exe cannot be remove because it serves as the recycle bin in your computer..autorun.inf can be deleted through cmd,. i dont think so about the antivirus can deleted autorun.
