Books like ''southern vampire series'' or ''The night huntress novels'' HELP!

Hi there Im a big fan of the sookie stackhouse series and when i had finished it i was devastated!!! Now i have to wait for another book to be written!!!
After finishing the sookie stackhouse books someone recommended The night huntress novels which i am currently reading but it wont take me long to get through them!
I am looking for a book or series which is like these books (true blood, or the night huntress). Im not interested in werewolf books, and i have already read all the silly teenager books like twilight and the vampire diarys ( which to be honest twilight nearly bored me to death!).
Im 25 and like my adult books, so please dont direct me to silly teenager books that i simply will not like.
Could someone please please direct me to a series that fits into the supernatural, romance, action packed, horror category any comments that dont involve teenage books are welcome thanks!!!

You should try the Repairman Jack series by F. Paul Wilson. There are a couple of pre-books like The Keep, The Tomb and Reborn but you don't have to read them in order to enjoy Jack. Full of action, a little romance, influences of evil and good and some truly thought-provoking concepts. No preaching here, either. One you get started you'll just eat them up and want more! There are 13 in the series so far with one last novel in the works.
