I am currently involve in a network marketing company that deals with the importation and distribution of beauty and health products. I joined in because my friend of mine recruited me, in my desire to help her achieve her goals I paid in. Now, here comes a difficult obstacle... I do not know how to invite people... I can present so-matter-of-fact that our mentors said I lack conviction. I can't help it, I am a very private and straightforward person. I do not sweet-talk nor put icing on a cake, I state and give facts. It is a requirement that I have to have 2 people to pay in cause we are a binary system however I don't persuade nor manipulate people to my own advantage. I paid in to help her not thinking of the consequences that lies ahead. I'm not regretting my decision is just that I could not make a facade of conviction when I am talking to people. I like to help people, but I do not like deadlines. Do you have any ideas or technique how to convince people without risking who I am?

That's really hard for you lazy bug because you don't feel like doing it. You need lots of perseverance so you could do it. Convincing people is really hard, you need to be very informative and nice to talk to. You need to persuade people but how can you?If you don't feel like doing it. Just think of it, ask your friend to help you and make effective marketing. I guess you'll have training regarding effective marketing and sales. :)

First of all, before you want to convince people, you should convince yourself first. You should try to use your products and patronize it.If you are convince about the quality of your products, and it's doing good for you ,then you're ready for the next step. You can tell them about your own experience and why they should buy or be a member of that company.Try also to fully understand your company's business plan and marketing strategies so you can explain to your prospective clients why they should join. The most important thing is be sure that your networking company is legit. There are a lot of pyramidal scams going on, and what they want is to steal money from people.I'm not telling you not to trust your friend, maybe she's just a willing victim too.

It is a legit company licensed in our country and the products that we are importing are licensed in the United States to be manufactured and to be exported. Definitely, it is not a scam.

First things first you have to compose yourself. You must study how those in the business do their thing and have sort of it and apply it to yourself. I wont suggest to copy everything they do because it's them (their technique) but try to adopt some areas and incorporate it with how you do your thing. What works for them doesnt mean will work for you. In this business everyone has to be like actors. I can relate here coz I felt the same way as I was a newbie in call center industry but, gradully, I became better and productive..... Remember everything is all in the mind. If you think your not doing good and it reflects, so be positive. Experiment if you may till you get the right formula.

Sales marketing field is a risky and very very challenging job. Easily we will get bore in the starting. But if we will get success in this field, it is the most valuable one. And who said you have no communication skills. you are talking like an expert. Don't feel anything, you can do it, one thing we have to do is, feel free, you can do it. If that field is not interesting, go for your favorite field.

Just laying out the nice things about the products would be marketing by itself. But of course you have to put enthusiasm when you do them, so that clients can be convinced that you really have a great product. Better still, if you are using the products and has seen great improvements from it, then you can give your testimonial. For one to be able to sell beauty and health products, the sales person himself should be an example.

I guess network marketing jsut doesn't suit you well. Is it Frontrow Philippines? Just a hunch. Anyway, I've been invited too in several seminars regarding multilevel marketing schemes in which you need to have a network to earn big. having identified and analyzed how the scheme works, I just don't imagine myself doing such a kind of activity. I advise you to just build up on your network of acquaintaces and friends including social and online networks. Just try asking persons you are comfortable with at first about joining in.

It sounds like you were only trying to be a good friend. Which makes you a good person. But doesn't sound like you are a good salesperson. If you are not having fun don't do it. If you want to stick with it, ask a mentor if you can "mirror" them. Be present while they are making the "pitch" Look at their technique. Then see if you can do the sam or similar thing. It could all be up to your acting ability.

lazybug a lot of people get teed off at someof these over agressive sales people so I think you should ju st be you and state the facts clearly and with your own confidence. I think being matter of fact and just describing the stuff would be a good sales gimmic.just be you and honest and straight forward. acting phony will likely put some people off really. just be yourself And I would sure be leery of multilevel marketing schemes some are very crooked only the top most people will ever make any money.
