Disposable, Temopary Mail

I like the idea of the disposable or temporary mail but I often find it unreliable. I use it sometimes when doing surveys, offers or free stuff. I have an extra email just for that stuff but it is already plenty full. And also I am member of several sites that I do offers on and an email address can only be used once. Sometimes these offers won't accept the temp emails. Also I wish they would give them better names. They have stuff like xxx@dontspamme or xxx@spanthis. I don't want to necessarily anounce that I may be trashing their emil! Flitz mail or dispostable is not so bad I guess. Does anyone else use temp email? or know or a good reliable one?

I don't use it now but I used a disposable email once, now I have forgot the email password of that account. Currently I do not use many email accounts because I afraid that I will forget the password it is confusing to use many emails. Also I don't do surveys. I like my all emails at one place because it can be tiresome to check the different accounts to access mails.

thanks, accounts and passwords can be confusing and sometimes hard to keep up with, everybody has their own way of doing things!

I use them too and find them very useful. Mostly when I need to register in a website that I don't want to register (say, to download something, but that I'll never be coming again. I give a disposable in those cases. Weather or not is it reliable depends on how you use them. If it's only for signing up a site, then receive some spams and then never more, it's OK, but for more serious uses I don't find them so good. I think it depends if it's an human or a machine what uses it, you can easily lure computers into your disposable and you'll receive only a few spams in the worst case, but if you give one to a real person, he can always create new addresses for example. For many years I'm using Spamgourmet, and as for now I have really little troubles, it works great and does a good job in filtering the junk once the addresses became full.

I only have 2 email address now. My primary mail and the one is used for job application. In my primary mail, i receive some spam mails but i ignore all of it to protect my privacy and to keep my email from hackers. Yes, using temporary emails are good but you must protect your privacy. Just be careful.
