Do You Think a Person's Fav Color Reflects Him/Her?

I do feel that colors do reflect my mood as there are times I prefer one over the other. I do enjoy a certain amount of them, but depending on how I feel is what I might opt for. So yes on a given day color can certainly give me high spirits and on days when I am blue I don't care too much for which one it is.

You said that red - love , Id say red is a aggresive color and more for very active persons , but overall I agree with you.

For me if its Sunday it is violet, Monday - indigo, Tuesday -Blue, Wednesday - Green, Thursday - Yellow, Fridy -Orange, Saturday - Red. You know why? Because I am a multi-faceted personality!The moral of the story is colours do not reflect one's personality!

Hi Banny! I agree that colors will reflects people personalities as we tend to act like the color of clothe we wear. That is what many people thoughts and I thought the same too. But I am not sure if they go the same with our favorite colors. My favorite colors are white, blue and black. I like white because we can blend it well with other colors. I like blue and I have no reason for that. Just simply because I love that color. I like black because it is elegant. I like the other colors too but not as much as these three colors.(^^)

i like Orange yet i am not that totally sweet orange is a color that is easily caught in the eye..i do have such personality...there is something cut above the rest everybody loves orange like an apple and i am lovable and easy to be with so much for myself ...c",)

Hi Bannybanzie! My favorite color is pink. By your meaning I would be so girly? I think that's a little bit true but at times I'm also like a cowgirl? You know, when people term women to be cowboy when they do not have inhibitions to try new things without so much a complain and whatsoever. I also ride a scooter. But my scooter is pink with a few flowers and hearts on it. lol But blue used to be my favorite color when I was in college. I don't know if I'm peaceful then or if I have inner peace or something like that. My college life was full of... energy. lol Anyway, there came a time that I didn't like blue anymore because I thought it was a manly color so I changed to pink.

It might tend to show some basic personality trait but I wouldn't hold alot of store in it. I wonder if the color artists chose for their pictures might have something to do with their personalities. Or maybe it has to do with conditioning. Interesting topic to be sure.

hello Banny, I don't think it reflects,because no one ever knows the real meaning of each color. Colors may have definition,but who can tell it's the right one. Anyway,i love blue and my house is painted with sky blue,my room is also light blue. But i don't have blue dress that much...i like black when it comes to clothing/s. have a great weekend ahead

Well, i think in my case, colors reflects me. I love white the most. It gives me a feeling of cleanness , simplicity and serenity, specially when it comes to my clothes and surroundings. Next, i like light green, because it seems clean and cool to the eyes and feelings too. I think, most of us are reflected in the colors we choose.

From a completely psychological perspective, I'd have to say that preferred colors only give us a small clue. I don't know if the same can be said of specific colors and their various meanings, but the shade that a person likes can be telling of their traits. People who prefer lighter, more eccentric colors can be more easygoing, and positive in general. People who like darker colors can be more serious, nihilistic, depressed, or the like. It's an interesting topic! Black can also represent authority and power, while white symbolizes purity and being humble. Red is intensity. Blue is peace, or tranquility. Green is calming and refreshing. Yellow is more optimistic, and represents concentration. Purple is royal, and symbolizes luxury, wealth, and sophistication. Brown symbolizes reliability and being genuine. I happen to prefer red. I would say that I can be quite intense, and in most cases, especially when diffusing a situation, I usually tend to side in that direction. My friend Frank prefers blue, and he's more lax and easygoing than I could ever be. Does this mean anything? Who knows. It might though.

hi, for me, i think person's favorite color will not reflect in his/her personality,because i had notice it many time,i have a neighbor here which she really like the color of green but she hates plants,though i dont know her reason why.so meaning its does not reflect to the color we want.

Colors play an important role in redefining our moods. It is normally said you should not have too much red in bed room covers. It is considered red brings anger. But u have written differently. Light colours --like light blue, light green, are to be used in bed rooms. By practice it has come to be like this -- boys dresses - blue and girls dresses -pink in western countries. For children we normally put dark colour pants so that dirt is not seen vividly. I also do not co-relate colours liked by a person and his personality are linked.

Blue: Soft, Soothing, Compassionate, Caring, conservative, Patient and Sensitive. Blues are faithful but they often worry and can sometimes be too cautious. This is awesome!
