good day fellow mylotters, everytime i go up and down thru our stairs, my right knee encounters some difficulty in moving. as there was a time that i cannot bend it in the morning. and when i do bend it since i need to sit, i find it hard to stand up. aside from knee pain, there was also a time, that my back really aches. as i cannot stand straight quickly. though the pain was tolerable and bearable. oh my, i am getting older. as some pains i felt on my right knee and on my back were signs of old age.

I used to be very active. I enjoy playing tennis, running and jogging. At work and sports, I feel that my body movements are in the right harmony and coordination. Now I do feel the usual aches and pains associated with growing older. This is one reality everyone of us will face sooner or later. How we wish we could delay the aging process and prevent the infirmities it brings.

My knee hurts too! I hate when I have pain like this - it makes it hard to stand and walk.

Calcium deficiency is also one of the reason for back pain or may be due to over exercises. So first check whether you have any calcium deficiency. If thats the problem with doctor advice take some calcium tablets.

I have back pains and it started after I gave birth more than a year ago. It is lingering and it really hurts a lot. I don't think my age has something to do with the pain. I already consulted a doctor and had my back x-rayed to make sure there is no dislocation of bone or something worst. Thank God my x-ray result was normal, meaning there was no problem with my pelvic bone. But the problem was in the muscle, I had muscle spasm. According to my doctor this was due to wrong body posture. So, aside from the age, there are a lot of possible factors that causes these pains like wrong posture, weight (if a person is overweight), food (high in purines that can cause uric acid to shoot up), lack of exercise etc.

I am only 29, and my knee hurt like hell last week. I think I slept on it wrong. My husband had a similar problem. I woke up one morning thinking that I am way too young to be feeling this friggen' old. LOL
