is there a way to hack thomson router password?

I changed the password of my router, and forgot it :( I need a tool to hack the password only ( i know the username). Resetting the router is my last option, cause reconfiguring it is a big headache for me. please share any idea you have. thanks

Emmmmm you can just reset the router back to factory settings back holding in the little button on the back of it...

The instructions for recovering a password from a limited number of routers using RouterPassView v1.31 are here: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/router_password_recovery.html Only Thomson TG580 DSL is officially supported but it may be possible to recover the password from other models (in which case, you should inform the writer of the software so that he can add your model to the list). Certainly, the easiest way of resetting a password would be to reset the router, making sure that, if possible, you have written down the configuration so that you can reconfigure it as before. That may be a pain but it may be the only course open to you.
