like buying a new car, buying a new computer means you're getting that machine that doesn't already have problems. while it may be a cheaper to buy a used or refurbished computer, it may not be compatible with your software. some programs, such as brand-new photo/video editors or action games, may require a faster machine than you can buy used. if you decide to buy a used machine, buy it from a reputable dealer who gives you some type of warranty.. what do you think? =)

always prefer you for buying a new computer if you are going no buy. Because if you are going to buy a computer and you prefer an old one. Then it is a value of loss for you. Because there are many problems with old one and you don’t get any warranty on any parts of this old computer and if you prefer to new one then you get a warranty on every parts and also you get service from them time to time.

That depends on what type of user are you, if you are the techy type and you have a little bit of computer trouble shooting background, it would actually go down to specifications, if the used or refurbished computer has the same specification as the new one but with a much cheaper price, I would prefer buying that, after buying it, I would reformat the hard drive, reinstall the operating system and the driver then it would be good as new. If this has been done already when you bough it, then the refurbished one is as good as new with old parts. Warranty might be good, but I would only suggest it if you are not that tech savvy.

There is nothing bad in buying an used computer, as long as it's in good state. It limits nothing in what it can do and the programs it can run, but the only thing you must watch for is the hardware condition that might last less time because of past use, and maybe it previously was not taken care of correctly. So I would check it carefully and give it a try before buying. About the software, I prefer to format it right away regardless of the logical state, just to make sure that it has a fresh and clean installation of the OS. Refurbished is almost the same as new, with the exception of it was previous hardware problems fixed in the factory before shipping it. You might face some earlier failures because of that, but often you're given an extra warranty to cover for it. If given me the choice and enough money, I would always buy a new computer always. Not only because of the quality of components but also because I have the chance to select carefully each one to get the best performance and the best combination.

Hi there. For me I prefer to buy brand new than used one. Although there's no problem in buying used one. I prefer brand new because we are sure that its quality is good. When there's problem, you can easily return it. But as we all know, Its quite expensive when buying a new one. But you know, Actually, second hand is not that bad. I have my second hand laptop and it is doing good. I'm using it now and and its with me for over 4 years and nothing major problem happened. Maybe, If you want t buy used computer, make sure its quality is still there. thanks.hope I helped!

Well, if I didn't have the money to buy a new computer, I would buy a refurbished, used computer that's less than 5 years old or so. And if there's no used computer that I like, I would rather save up to buy a new one.
