It's England v India, but not in a good way

Right now, English are the favorites. Thanks to a Kevin Peterson double century, England have an imposing total on the board. India now have to bat really well to ensure they do not start this series on a bad foot. Already India has taken a massive hit by Zaheer getting hit by the hamstring problem. Cheers! Ram

To predict a winner after two days of the first test is difficult. England have good control of the game and if they dismiss India for a low score and get a good lead then they will be in a position to push for a win. But looking at it from the other point of view if India bat well and put on a good first innings total and some thing really dramatic happens in the second innings when the hosts bats and are bowled out cheaply may be India might look at victory. And then you also have the rain factor which if happens will put all hopes of a result aside and both teams will have to settle for a draw..
