Praise and Worship Songs

Hi everyone, I know most of you are not into praise and worship songs here in mylot.. but to those who are.. would you be able to share your experiences with us, who have had great feelings and who has always felt really great and always helped, and relaxed whenever they hear the worship song or praise that they love...
for me, it is always the same... i feel always delighted and excited to play the songs i like to hear and it always makes me feel ready and rejuvenated again.. like i have a been energized. =)

There was a time before that i always listen to the song "shout to the lord". The song is so nice and it really make me feel different.When i feel kinda sad or confused, i just play the song and listen to it or even sing along then i would feel better. :-)

Hello! I really love praise and worship songs. All CDs in my car, my office, in our house it's all praise and worship song. "Shout to the Lord" is a great song for me. Whenever I go that song is always repeatedly play to my car. I really touch the message that "nothing compares to the promise I have in you" Oh what a love message from God, i can cry it. Praise God Almighty.

I'd say my favourite Christian Worship Leaders are Stuart Townend, composer of such contemporary Christian classics as "There is a Hope" and "In Christ Alone", and Graham Kendrick, whose master works include "Amazing Love", "The Servant King" and "God is Great". There is some truly wonderful modern-day Christian music around today, but for me, Townend and Kendrick are the very model of what we - speaking as a Christian and a singer-songwriter myself - should all be aspiring too. I rate them that highly.

When I was converted into true Christianity, secular songs no longer attract me. Well some of them may be good and still worth of listen nevertheless I prefer and would always listen to godly music. I prefer the traditional conservative music like Amazing Grace, Saved by Grace, Tell me the Story of Jesus, My Savior First of All and many more. Sorry but although there are some good contemporary praise and worship songs, most of them are shallow and do not even mention the name of Jesus. I prefer songs that speaks about the greatness and goodness of God and every attribute of God worthy of admiration and praise. I am not a fan of upbeat Christian songs. No way for me to get blessed with songs that do not really differ from secular ones.

I am okay with any types of songs or music but the praise and worship song is always on the top lists. I always feel great and grateful whenever I listen to such songs. A praise and worship song is a great reminder for me that we should be humble and remember God always. Like you said it makes us fell like we have been energized!!(^^)

me too!. i love listening to praise and worship songs! planetshakers and kutless are my favorite bands,, whenever i listen to songs of praise, i feel like nothing can ruin my day.. i feel fearless. :)

5 years ago, I don't appreciate much listening to praise and worship songs. Maybe because at those times, my heart was not yet touched. However, when all the challenges came at one time and went back to church attending the services. There are songs that deeply touched me. Even hearing the first lines and verses, I could already feel the tear drops in my cheeks. Since then, listening to praise and worship songs became my routine.

Friend I always like praise and worship songs and my father in law start the worship songs in daily morning. Really I feel more better when heard it.
